School Travel

All schools to have school travel plans by 2010 (2009 – Mayor’s Target)

Progress to date

– 95% of Borough schools had approved travel plans by March 2009

– We had 99% completed by end of 2009

and aim to reach

100% during 2010


Issues and concerns

Recession - Future budget constraints and/or job losses

Good practice ratio for RSOs = 1:50,000 population (Bexley Actual = 1:100,000)
