TABLE OF CONTENTS ROA STRATEGY

ROA What’s your strategy? All too often organizations operate without a clearly defined Excess and Obsolete Inventory disposition strategy. End of Life (EOL) material managed through reverse logistics is typically viewed as an expense and seems to be put off rather than managed as a functional part of the supply chain process.

Globaltek takes a different approach. By offering a well established Return on Asset (ROA) strategy, companies can reduce EOL costs and in some situations, actually return a profit. Either way, a properly implemented ROA strategy will improve your overall supply chain process and strengthen your bottom line.

Partner with Globaltek to develop an ROA strategy that’s right for you.

ASSET RECOVERY - INVENTORY MANAGEMENT ASSET RECOVERY – DE-MANUFACTURING

RE-MARkETING RECYCLING

Asset Recovery Globaltek helps clients recover revenues from their decommis-sioned systems as well as excess and obsolete inventories.

Inventory Management – Excess InventoryExcess inventory, obsolete and end-of-life (EOL) material will typically diminish in value the longer it sits idle. In short, this material becomes a non-performing asset tying up otherwise valuable resources and capital.

We recognize the importance of turning surplus electronics into recoverable revenues. We also recognize that not all situations are equal and that certain market conditions may require different approaches. This is why

Globaltek offers the following flexible solutions for your consideration in managing excess inventory.

•Purchase Program – Globaltek will buy the excess inventory outright.

•Consignment – Globaltek takes possession of your inventory for resale and all net revenues are shared based on a predetermined split.

•Purchase / Consignment Split – An upfront transfer fee is paid to relinquish material. As material sells the initial proceeds are used to recoup the upfront cost of material and all remaining revenues are shared based on a predetermined split.

De-ManufacturingDe-Manufacturing is a key component to the overall recovery process. In order to generate revenue or reduce additional inventory costs, Globaltek will breakdown whole systems into their basic commodities for the purpose of Parts Harvesting reusable and resalable components.Once separated, subassemblies and components are either sold for their Fair Market Value (FMV) or held in inventory for spares and repair work. All remaining material including precious and semi precious metals along with all e-scrap will be sorted, separated and processed accordingly. The net result is that you no longer run the risk of your decommissioned material ending up in a landfill.

Re-MarketingRe-Marketing system components is where Globaltek thrives. We take a proactive approach to the sales cycle and are continually finding new customers to buy your E&O inventory. We also believe that “re-use” is the most desirable form of recycling, as it extends the useful life of a product and provides the highest monetary return. Most standard application products can be used to service smaller companies, R&D firms or test and repair facilities. Globaltek strives to find markets for these assets to maximize our client’s recovery.

RecyclingGlobaltek’s forward thinking approach to maximizing the return on your assets does not stop short of our recycling programs. Through our De-Manufacturing process we aggregate similar commodities in an effort to increase the potential revenue for our clients. With Certificates of Destruction, in-house shredding, and a Zero Landfill Policy we can assure our clients that their material is being handled with the latest industry “Best Practices” in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
