The function of the diaphragm pump is raising pressure in RO
systems. Reverse osmosis is a process in which water pressure
is the key factor. Household water purification systems do not
require high pressure values, yet their efficiency decreases if
water pressure in the installation falls below 45 PSI. Low water
pressure increases the amount of drain water, makes tank refill
time longer and decreases the amount of purified water. Even
minor pressure increase can boost the water purufication
system’s efficiency.
