Education in a Supportive SettingUSCB’s RN to BSN degree program combines premium education with flexibility and personal attention to student needs. The program is designed to give students options that support both their education and experience in the nursing field.

• No minimum experience requirement: Enrolled students are only required to have an active nursing license and employment as an RN• Accommodating scheduling: Classes are offered only on Wednesdays to accommodate work schedules• Time management options: Missed classes are available for later viewing on the internet via our “Tegrity” software

Build on Your Associates Degree Need additional preparatory courses to build on your associates degree? No problem. Contact the Nursing Department at 843-208-8124 to work with a nursing advisor who will help you plan an appropriate course of study to meet the RN to BSN program requirements. The program requires course in:

• Microbiology and Nutrition • Anatomy and Physiology • Communications • College Algebra • Fine Arts • History

SuSan C. WilliamS, Ph.D., RN–Chair, Department of Nursing

Susan C. Williams received her B.S.N. from Michigan State University, M.S. as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Health from Boston College and Ph.D. in Nursing Science from the University of South Carolina. She has held faculty positions at Lowell University, Boston College and MUSC College of Nursing. Dr. Williams served as Vice President/Executive Nurse Fellow at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Most recently, she served as Executive Director/CEO for Outer Cape Health Services on Cape Cod.
