Introducing a New eBlast Request System

What have we done to make requesting an eBlast easier?

In order to streamline our communications and make them more impactful, RLHC has introduced an eBlast request portal through SharePoint. This form will live on SharePoint and will automatically begin the workflow process to distribute a communication.

Why have we created the eBlast Request System?

We have introduced this form to create a simple, yet effective procedure for all RLHC associates to follow when needing to send an internal communication to our stakeholders.

1.  Log into SharePoint (redlion.sharepoint.com) and click Request an eBlast on the left hand side.  Complete the eBlast Request Form. #Note: all required fields are marked with a red star (*). Marketing will assist with editing the copy and ensuring it is concise, effective and on brand. As a reminder, any new on-property procedures require an SOP (link) and eBlast Power Point (link). Any attachments can be added at the top under Attach File. Please see attached file (link) for understanding of each section of the request form.

2.  Review and Save work. The system will automatically begin a workflow process to create, distribute and schedule your comm. The workflow will include the opportunity to review a proof of the comm from Katie Grimmer, and make edits.#Note: please allow two business days for creation and design of the eBlast. If this is an urgent matter, please reach out to the Communications Team (Dan Schacter and Katie Grimmer) directly.

FAQ

How long does it take for an eBlast to be created?

Please allow two business days for an eBlast to be created, designed and sent. If a request is urgent, please reach out to the Communications Team (Dan Schacter and Katie Grimmer) directly.

When should I use the eBlast Request Form?

All internal communications should follow the eBlast request process outlined in this document. Examples of internal communications include any new initiatives, systems, procedures and programs, eNewsletters, special events and important updates.

Can the communications team help me write my copy and choose images?

Definitely. Please provide us with an outline of the message you are looking to convey and we are more than happy to write the communication for you.
