It is with deepest pride that we present to our clients the Rizal Technological University’s Citizen Charter, a guidebook of the

essential services that we provide. RTU believes that adopting this employ will steer every Filipino towards effective and transparent governance at the same time helps the University to realize its Philosophy, Vision and Mission as it strive to its quest for Center of Excellence and an ISO Certified School.

This guidebook is RTU’s way to support the Republic Act 9485, known as the Anti Red Tape Act (ARTA) of 2007. An act that

aims at promoting accountability, the proper management of the public affairs and public property as well as establish effective practices aimed at the prevention of graft and corruption in the government.

With RTU’s love, concern and prioritizing its clients, RTU creates and adopts this Citizen’s Charter in order that the transacting public will be given a guide to the different services offered by its different offices. Likewise, this charter serves as an operation manual of all the employees of RTU on the expected kind of service they need to impart to the public.

Similarly, it is the tool developed by RTU to support the Philippine Administration in empowering its citizenry in promoting transparency and accountability in all of its service delivery in its pursuit for good governance as we hold up in “Kung walang corrupt, walang mahirap”. Hence, we would like to offer this to all the University’s stakeholders and future generations, may this charter lead us to a better RTU, better citizenry and better Philippines.

Inquire to the Guidance Office and secure / comply requirements for the entrance examination and then proceed to the Cashier to pay the entrance examination fee slip. Go back to the GCC to secure schedule and room assignment for the entrance examination. Visit the RTU website or call the GCC to know the result of the exam, if passed, go to the GCC office to get the interview slip and then proceed to the Department Chair that is indicated into the interview slip. After passing the interview by the Department Head, comply with the signatories on the interview slip and other requirements of the College, once done, proceed to the Guidance Office to submit admission requirements and to secure temporary student number. Proceed to your respective Login area (in your College / Department) and continue with the computerized enrollment with the assistance of the College enrolment-in-charge. Get the assessed form and proceed to the cashier to pay the assessed amount. Proceed to the Registrar’s Office for the “Officially Enrolled” stamp.

Get the necessary forms with return slip to the GCC and proceed to the Department Head for the evaluation of scholastic record and initial interview. If qualified pay entrance examination to the cashier’s office. Go back to GCC for the schedule of the entrance examination. Contact the GCC or visit the RTU website to know the result of the examination, if passed, return to the GCC and then proceed to the Department Chair that is indicated into your interview slip. Fill up a pre-enrollment form with the subjects you are supposed to take for the semester and then proceed to your department head for advice and approval of the subjects to be taken. Proceed to your assigned enrollment post for the assessment of the subjects to enroll. Wait for the printout of the registration form. Proceed to the Cashier Office and pay the assessed amount reflected on the printed registration form. Continue the process to the Department of Student Affairs to validate your Identification Card. Proceed to your Department Head and show the request for Leave of Absence form accomplished on the last semester attended and let the Department Head evaluate the past scholastic records. Subject for the Dean’s approval. Proceed to respective Login area and continue with computerized enrollment procedures and do the same as step 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the undergraduate program for regular students. If irregular student follow the procedures for irregular students.

Requirements: 1. When requesting school documents:

a. Original and photocopy of Clearance (duly signed by the respective offices) b. Original and photocopy of payment receipt (of documents being requested) c. Original Receipt of documentary stamp (for those requesting for Transcript of Records and Honorable Dismissal /

Transfer Credentials) d. Affidavit of Loss (for second copy of Transcript of Records and Diploma)

2. When claiming the requested school documents: a. School (RTU) ID (to be surrendered if student graduated or has applied for Honorable Dismissal) b. Affidavit of Loss (for lost ID) c. Alumni ID, Toga Return Slip and Graduation Fee (if graduated) d. Authorization letter and ID card of both students and the third party (if relative / third party will be the one to pick

Photocopy the Official Registration form together with the Official Receipt (OR) then proceed to EDP Department. Secure an ID Clip form from the EDP Department and fill up all the required field with the correct / accurate information. Present photocopy of the registration form / official receipt (OR) and ID slip form to EDP ID processing staff. Wait your turn to be seated on the picture booth.
