Officina Italiana Design was founded in 1994 by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, who started their professional collaboration with Riva over 20 years ago, and has become internationally renowned for its influence in the evolution of the finest boat designs.

Riva’s entire collection of boats today has been created in collaboration with Officina Italiana Design, both in the exterior and interior details, and is recognised for being timeless and classic, yet always unique. Pure lines, a fluid style, exceptional quality and attention to detail are the essence of their design philosophy. The Aquariva is a masterpiece that has become a lifestyle icon since its launch in 2000.

The Aquariva by Gucci represents a seamless union between these two incomparable contemporary classics.

Fundamental to Gucci’s rethinking of this most sought - after of premium motor yachts was a respect for the essence

of the Officina Italiana Design’s original project. Defining the boat is a fibreglass hull painted in Gucci’s own hue

of glossy white, while Riva’s mahogany with its masterly varnish finish - twenty coats in all, ten by brushing,

ten by spraying - represents the peerless mark of distinction for the cockpit, walking decks and awning cover hatch.

Other outstanding features include the allure of the Guccissima print for the waterproof fabric covering seats

and sundeck and the beauty of Gucci white cotton for the luxurious bed upholstery. The boat’s iconic Gucci signature

comes in the green/red/green web detailing along the floating line complementing the unique green crystal windshield.

Completing the Gucci customization is a series of exclusive Riva by Gucci accessories, including a picnic set,

travel bags, shoes, scarves, a watch and sunglasses.

The innovative two -speed electronic gear reveals all the power of the two 380-horsepower Yanmar engines, ensuring

an exceptional performance with a maximum speed of 41 knots and a 150-mile range at cruising speed.

Unveiled on September 7, 2010, at the International Cannes Boat Show, the Aquariva by Gucci again

captured attention two weeks later during a special presentation on the opening day of Milan Fashion Week.

Throughout 2011, the boat will travel the globe visiting some of the world’s most prestigious boat shows.

The Aquariva by Gucci is available exclusively on a made- to-order basis through Riva’s dealer network.
