You will need: Some incenseA candleA set of runesA pin or needleLinseed OilTime: Durning the Dark Moon, At midnight. Light the candle, and set the incense to smoking. Lay out the runes before you. Pick up one rune at a time and pass it through candle flame and incense smoke, then smear some ash and some of your blood (from a pin-prick) on the rune. (Rune Name), rune of (Describe): Through candle flame, and breath of life; ash of the fertile earth and by blood of my flesh, I anoint thee, (rune), (rune of ...) into my service. Present the rune to deities, if any: and present thee, (rune), to (deities), that you may honor (him/her/them).Replace the rune before you, and repeat for each rune. When finished, you may put the runes away, or seal with linseed oil saying: The whole of existence in these runes; with this oil, I seal what I have wrought!When finished sealing, put the runes away.The Runes have been Risted.

This ritual may be adapted for risting a single rune, or a bindrune, etc.
