The Product and Service Codes on RISQS, formerly known as Link-up, provide the

connection between buyers and suppliers. By selecting the codes that represent the

company’s product and service portfolio, the supplier defines its offering to the industry.

The buyer uses the codes to search and select suppliers for the desired product or service.

Product Code Formatting

The RISQS Product Codes comprise three Levels plus an activity, see the below example:

01.01.02.CBD - Track Circuit Interrupters

This code comprises Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 codes and an activity, this example is

expanded in the below:

Activity - CBD - Construct Build Assemble Install Modify Dismantle Disassemble

Each Level 1 code has several Level 2 codes; in turn each Level 2 code can have multiple

Level 3 codes. At Level 3, codes can have one or more possible lifecycle activities that will

cover the range of work associated with the code, this could be the design of an asset

(DES) or its operation (OPT).

Special Assessments: Requirement and recognition of 3rd party authorisations, licenses, certification, assessments, audit and trade association memberships

Products or services that have a mandatory requirement – it is now required that a supplier

hold the relevant authorisation, license, certification, trade association membership,

assessment or audit assurance for the below product codes in order to offer these services

through RISQS. The respective attestations are to be made available to RISQS and will be

requested by the Achilles Data checking team:
