Location Hazard Avoidance

Location 1 – Danbury Lakes, pond area (Danbury)

- pond (not fenced off)- slippery (during winter)- falling over due to poor / no lighting- uneven ground- dogs may not be on a lead- camera equipment could get damaged by water

- stay well back from edge of pond- if filming runs into night time, some form of artificial light must be used- suitable footwear must be worn by actress and filming crew- assure life belt is at hand

Location 2 – Danbury Lakes, greenery - use of agricultural machinery and pesticides- slippery or uneven ground- damage to grass or plants- poor weather conditions could damage filming equipment- dogs may not be on a lead

- no accessibility during planting and harvesting- appropriate sensible footwear at all times- walk on designated path- try and choose days that are more quiet e.g. weekdays

Location 3 – Danbury Park, Danbury - play area equipment may be unsafe- children will be running around- getting lost (especially at night)-crowded areas

- a torch or other artificial light is essential at night- suitable footwear must be worn- sensible clothing must be worn when using apparatus-be aware of others, ask permission if they enter shot etc.

Location 4 – Garden Shed - tools and gardening equipment could injure- wooden floorboards could cause splinters- damp surrounding areas

- insure all equipment is safely stored away and that the area is tidy- lay a protective mat on the floor- wear suitable footwear
