Premium Employee Benefits

Attend a one hour Little Moments Information Session (LMS) and learn how Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties impacts the children we serve. During this presentation we tell you some of our stories, showcase our accomplishments and share goals for the future.

This presentation provides an overview of Big Brothers Big Sisters and the different programs we offer. Attendees may tour our office, a Sears Craftsman-style home built in 1916 and lunch will be sponsored by Larry’s II Restaurant. By attending a Little Moments Information Session attendees are not asked to commit to anything. We simply share our message.

Our next Little Moments session is September 13th and starts at 12:15 and ends promptly at 1:15. RSVP Online, email Cherell Eutzy-Watson or please call us at 856-692-0916 before September 8th if you plan to attend.

Little Moments, Big Impact

Thank you to Cumberland County College’s Phi Theta Kappa for the donation of book bags and supplies. They were very appreciated by our Littles.

To celebrate the launch of the Social Media campaign by the insurance company, Premium Employee Benefits, the owner of the company, Diana Carabello-Belcher made the offer to donate $1 to Big Brothers Big sisters for each "Like" they received on their new Facebook page. The fundraiser began on August 11th and ended on August 15th, raising $219 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties. Thank you Diana and her Facebook fans.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Board Member Donata Dalesandro recently became a Big Sister to Little Sister Madisyn at Max Leuchter Elementary School in Vineland. Donata, along with twelve other teachers and community volunteers, have become School Based Bigs in our newest School Based Mentoring Program at the elementary school. Donata is excited to begin meeting with her Little Sister again when school begins in September. Madisyn is a quiet and calm girl who is one of several siblings at home. We are so excited to give her a Big Sister all of her own to spend time with her at school and brighten her day! Donata said, “Madisyn is wise beyond her years, and we have a lot to talk about now that we have met a few times.” Donata hopes to teach her cards and board game strategies, like Uno, that they play when they meet at school. It’s exciting for Donata to be a Big Sister for Madisyn because “we all want someone special” in our lives.

Several teachers and school personnel—and even the school principal, Mrs. Carmella Heer, have banded together to make a difference in their school beyond the great impact they make in the classroom. These School Based Bigs are making a difference by meeting with their Littles once a week during their lunch hour and they are seeing “Big” benefits from their matches that began in the spring - the children are more confident, happy, and eager to attend school. A School Based Big gives a child someone who cares about them at school and spends the time to show it. We thank those who have already joined the program, and we look forward to seeing the program grown in the 2016-2017 school year!

If you, or someone you know, would be interested in making a difference by spending one lunch hour a week with a child at Max Leuchter or any of our other participating schools in your area, please contact Danielle Clementson at (856) 692-0916 x.104 or by email [email protected].
