Introduction

Lock Operator Application

• Convoy – multiple hulls data structure• All data stored locally so loss of internet connection

does not block logging of lock operations• Connection of the lock operator applications to the

LMS central application enables forwarding of announcements to the next lock(s) in line

RIS Integration – VTT & VHF

• Usage of AIS data for creating the announcements

• Identification of incoming vessels using the MMSI or ENI Number

• Population of convoy data using appropriate data from AIS messages (size, name, MMSI, etc.)

• Creating announcements using the ATIS code (from VHF)

• Pre-announcement of vessels using the web based interface
