Role: Operator in 33KV Substation, VakathanamDuration: 26months (January 2013 - march 2015)Key Responsibilities:
Taking hourly analysis (load, voltage, power factor, MWh, MVAr) of 11kV feeders, primary and secondary side of transformers.
Hourly analysis of oil and winding temperature of transformers. Switch-off and Switch-on 11kV feeders as requested from concerned section office. Issuing permit to work in concerned line by switching off, racking out concerned feeder and
opening yard isolator and earthing of this feeder. Updating daily DC battery voltage. Inspecting yard and yard equipment daily and reporting fault if any; clearing fault during
transformer maintenance. Monthly maintenance of equipment. Preparing monthly operations reading.
ACADEMIC PROJECT Project Title : AIRCRAFT ELECTRIC ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM USING BIDIRECTIONAL DC-
DC CONVERTER Role: Project Coordinator
Description:Proposed ultra-capacitor based energy storage system consisting of two full bridge converters with a coupling inductor to meet the peak power requirements of an aircraft for the replacement of existing DC sources which increases the weight of the aircraft.
Key Responsibilities: Conceptualization, planning and efficient execution of goals. Co-ordinated tasks and set targets as the team leader. Presented the project before the panel.
