Expenditures include engaging researchbiologists (2 nos), travel, purchase of essential field equipments, contingency, technicalreport printing and Institutional cost of 15% of the total cost of the project. The utilizationcertificate and final report has been submitted to the CCFcum Field Director Sahyadri Tiger

Terms of Reference (Addition to those mentioned in Sanction Order)

1. The project is sanctioned and approved for a period from January 2017 to December 20

2. Project execution time as estimated shall not be extended under normal circumst

3. Escalation in cost shall not be allowed on any account.

4. Responsibility for monitoring the progress shall rest withChief Conservator of Forests and Field Director. Sahyadri Tiger ~~s

5. \VII, Dehradun shall ensure timely completion of the entire project and deliverables as planned andhave been spelt out in sanction letter.

6. The expenditures will be made only for the purposes clearly described in the Sanction order ofMemorandum of Understanding. WII, Dehradun will be used to receive all funds from theSahyadri Tiger Foundation, and make all expenditures according to the Sanction order and MoU.

7. WH, Dehradun is allowed to create permanent research infrastructure. facilities or assets. to theextent provided in the sanction order and \VII, Dehradun shall retain ownership of suchinfrastructure, facilities or assets after the period of funding, provided that WI!, Dehradun provideclear and distinct assurance to allocate resources themselves for operation. maintenance andupkeep of such infrastructure, facilities or assets.

8. WII. Dehradun shall do all other things as may be considered necessary by the Sahyadri TigerFoundation and may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the stated objectives.

9. No contracts for the sale, purchase or supply of any goods or equipment or for any work or serviceshall be made for and on behalf of WH. Dehradun with any member of the Sahyadri TigerFoundation or any relative of any member of the Sahyadri Tiger Foundation or any firm in whichsuch member(s) or his/her/their relative is a partner or director or equivalent. In all contracts theWH, Dehradun shall take all necessary and reasonable precaution to avoid any potential issues ofconflict of interest. In specific cases, where the above rule is not followed, the WB. Dehradun shalltake all reasonable precaution to ensure that no personal benefits accrue to the relevant member(s)of Sahyadri Tiger Foundation.

10.The Sahyadri Tiger Foundation would review the progress of various tasks undertaken in theproject periodically and wn will update the progress to the Sahyadri Tiger Foundation and FieldDirector. Sahyadri Tiger Reserve. In this connection, WII, Dehradun shall send the Half Yearlyreport on the study for necessary action at Sahyadri Tiger Foundation.

I l.The recruitment of the project staff shall be made by WlI, Dehradun following its guidelines. Thecontractual staff would automatically stand terminated upon completion of the project.

12.The researchers engaged by WII in the project would spend most of the time collecting field datain Sahyadri Tiger Reserve and assist the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve authorities for other researchactivities as well as deemed fit by the authorities.
