29TH JUNE LONDON TO PORTSMOUTH (80 MILES)THE HOME OF HARLEQUINS RUGBY CLUB, THE STOOP, PROVIDES A PRESTIGIOUS VENUE FOR THE GROUP TO ASSEMBLE AND SET OFF FROM. WE WILL CYCLE A LOVELY ROUTE THROUGH THE BRITISH COUNTRYSIDE TO PORTSMOUTH WHERE WE WILL TAKEN AN OVERNIGHT FERRY TO CAEN.

30TH JUNECAEN TO RENNES (120 MILES)AN EARLY START ON WHAT WILL BE THE LONGEST DAY. OUR FORAY INTO FRANCE BEGINS IN LOWER NORMANDY AND CULMINATES IN BRITTANY IN THE HISTORIC CITY OF RENNES. OUR ROUTE WILL BE BEAUTIFUL, WITH SOME CHALLENGING CLIMBS AND REWARDING DOWNHILLS. WE WILL DO ALL WE CAN TO HELP YOU COMPLETE THE WHOLE DISTANCE, BUT ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR THOSE WHO FIND 120 MILES JUST A FEW TOO MANY.

1ST JULYRENNES TO NANTES (80 MILES)WE EXPLORE MORE BEAUTIFUL FRENCH COUNTRYSIDE AS WE WIND OUR WAY TOWARDS THE LOIRE RIVER. LUNCH OUTSIDE THE FAMOUS CHATEAU OF CHÂTEAUBRIANT WILL BE A REAL HIGHLIGHT.

2ND JULYNANTES TO LES HERBIERS (40 MILES)OUR SHORTEST DAY WILL SEE US MEANDER THROUGH THE VINEYARDS OF THE LOIRE TOWARDS THIS IDYLLIC TOWN WHICH CONTAINS MOUNT DES ALLOUETTES; THE ICONIC WINDMILL LINED HILL-ROAD WHERE THE 1ST TOUR STAGE WILL FINISH. OUR VICTORY PARADE WILL BE A SHORT, MEMORABLE AND BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY, LEAVING US FULLY ENERGISED TO CELEBRATE COMPLETING OUR ADVENTURE AND ENJOY WATCHING THE TOUR DE FRANCE.

This ride has been designed so that all you have to do is keep pedalling, we will take care of all logistics -including accommodation, food, mechanical support, luggage porter service, and travel for you and your bike back to London on July 3rd. This is the perfect ride for those are new to cycling or seasoned cyclists looking for a new and different ride, for students or simply those wanting to have some fun, get fit and support our cause by doing a thoroughly enjoyable challenge.

3. 50%ofyourfundraisingtargetshouldbereceivedbyRightToPlaybyJune1st.ThetotalofyourfundraisingtargetmustbereceivedtoRightToPlaybyAugust15th.Youcommittopayinganyshortfallyourself.

11.RightToPlayhasnocontroloverwhathappensonanyRightToPlayeventfromthetimeitdepartsfromLondontothefinishoftherideinNantes,andis,therefore,undernoliabilityincontract,negligence,orotherwiseforanymatteroccurringduringthosedatesorforanylossordamagesustainedbyanyparticipantduringthosedates.YouherebyreleaseanddischargeRighttoPlay,itsofficers,directors,employees,volunteersandagentsfromanyandallactions,claimsanddemandsfordamages,lossandinjury,howsoeverarising,whichnowormayhereafterbesustainedbyyouoryourpropertyarisingoutoforinconsequenceofyourparticipationintheRidetotheTourCycleChallenge.AnycomplaintmustbenotifiedtoFacePartnershipswithin14daysoftheendoftheevent.

12.NothingintheseconditionsshalllimitorexcludeRighttoPlay’sliabilityfordeathorpersonalinjurycausedbyitsnegligence,orthenegligenceofitsemployees,agentsorsubcontractors.

6. Teamsoffiveormorewillbesubjecttoareducedteamtarget.Whereteamshavefiveteammembersormore,thesponsorshiptargetwillbe£1,100perperson.Whereteamshavetenteammembersormore,thesponsorshiptargetwillbe£1,000perperson.

7. Ifateammemberdropsoutandtherearesubsequentlyfewerthanfiveteammembers,theoriginalsponsorshiptargetwillapply(£1,200perperson).Ifateammemberdropsoutandtherearesubsequentlybetweenfiveandnineteammembers,thesponsorshiptargetwillfallto£1,100perperson.

PASSPORTS, VISAS AND VACCINATIONS Clientsareresponsibleforarranging,andmust

beinpossessionofavalidpassportandanyvisaandvaccinationcertificatesrequiredforthewholeoftheirjourney.Informationaboutthesemattersorrelateditems(climate,clothing,baggage,personalgearetc)isgiveningoodfaithbutwithoutresponsibilityontheCompany.Itisyourresponsibilitytoobtainanynecessaryvaccinationsforyourtourandtodosowellbeforethedeparturedate.

INSURANCE AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE Travelinsuranceismandatoryforallclientswhilst

onatourorganisedbytheCompany.Clientstogetherwiththeirpersonalpropertyincludingbaggageareatalltimessolelyattheirownrisk.Clientsarewhollyresponsibleforarrangingtheirowninsurance.ClientsnottakingouttheCompany’srecommendedBritishCyclinginsuranceareresponsibleforensuringthattheyareinpossessionofprivateTravelInsurancewithprotectionforthefulldurationofthetourinrespectofatleastmedicalexpenses,injury,death,repatriation,cancellationandcurtailment,withadequatecover.Clientsmakingtheirownarrangementsshouldensurethattherearenoexclusionclauseslimitingprotectionforthetypeofactivitiesincludedintheirtour.ClientsshouldsatisfythemselvesthatanytravelinsurancearrangedthroughtheCompanyiswhattheyrequireandshouldarrangesupplementaryinsuranceifneedbe.Clientswillbedeemedtohavereadtheinsurancecover.

ITINERARY Whileweendeavourtofollowouritinerarythere

maybeexceptionalcircumstanceswhenthisisnotpossible.Wereservetherighttocancelormodifytheitineraryasnecessary.Duetothenatureofthetripsarrangementshavetobeplannedwellinadvance,sochangesmayhavetobemadeandtheCompanyreservesthe

righttodothis.ShouldamaterialchangebenecessarytheCompanywillinformyouassoonasreasonablypossible.Amaterialchangeincludes,forexample,asignificantchangeofdestinationorroutetimebymorethan12hours.

MEDICAL FORM Ifyouareover65yearsofageorifyouhave

anymedicalconditionthatcouldbeadverselyaffectedbyexercise,particularlyaheartconditionorasthma,youmustprovideRightToPlaywithamedicalcertificatefromyourdoctor.Bycompletingyouronlineregistrationyouareconfirmingthat,tothebestofyourknowledge,yourgeneralstateofhealthisgoodandthatyoutakefullresponsibilityforyourhealthandpersonalwellbeing.

MINIMUM AGE Participantsmustbeovertheageof18onthe

dayofdeparture.FacePartnershipsreservetherighttorefuseparticipationtoanyoneatanytimewithouthavingtodisclosethereason.

CHALLENGE PARTICIPATION Weacceptyourbookingontheunderstanding

thatyourealisethehazardsinvolvedinthistypeoftour,includinginjuryordeath,disease,lossordamagetoproperty,andthatyoucomeonthetouratyourownrisk.Weacceptnoliabilityforanyinjuryresultingfromthehazardsofcyclingoranyotheractivityincludedintheitinerary,orforanyothermishapstoyourselforyourproperty,andinparticularasaconsequenceofstrikes,wars,riots,sicknessorothersuchhappenings.Anyindependenttravelarrangementsthatyoumakearealsoatyourownrisk.

EQUIPMENT Clientstakingtheirownequipmentontourare

responsibleforanychargesfortransportationleviedbythetransportproviderincludingexcessbaggage.
