Laboratory and Imaging Evaluation
• Lyme disease antibodies were negative.• Autoimmune studies (ESR, ANA, RA, C3, C4)
were negative.• CBC, chemistry panel, thyroid function studies,
STS, vitamin B12, and folate were normal.• MRI of the cervical and upper thoracic spinal
cord, roots, and brachial plexus was normal, except for extensive adenopathy in the neck and axillae.
