Proven Track Record
It used to take 11 hours to connect. After the ROPS installation it takes 30 minutes. Connecting on average 12 times per year saves 5 rig days annually per rig since installation. Svein Ivar Rosnes
Our customer reports 150 rig-days of saving for all the ROPS system that are and

STANDARDIZATION ACROSS FLEET
Fleet Standardization
Evident that standardization is the key to reduce cost, increase efficiency and improve rig safety.
Statoil instructed ROPS to be the CAT D standard as it is a long contract and the ROPS system will ensure operator performance and efficiency as well as increasing the HSE level of the rig.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
20K Generation Rigs
THE FUTUREContractor and operator has a joint project where they are building the next generation of rigs capable of 20 K ROPS
Sub Sea Services is asked to participate with the developmentof a ROPS system capable of 20 K
SSS R & DSub Sea Services will work with Contractor and operator towards developingthe 20K ROPS by using our own engineers and our prior knowledge and experience in production
WHY ROPS? Contractor has ROPS installed on some vessels and have seen the benefit of the rigs with thesystem installed compared to those in the fleet that does not have the ROPS
