1. Introduzione La serie PMB comprende i riduttori per il comando del tamburo sulle autobetoniere. I riduttori della serie PMB sono caratterizzati da:

Elevata compattezza e robustezza Cuscinetto di uscita a elevata capacità di carico Riduzione ottenuta con due stadi di riduzione epicicloidali eventualmente preceduti da un primo stadio di riduzione ad assi paralleli Presa di forza aggiuntiva (PTO) per l’attacco di una pompa acqua ausiliaria Esclusivo sistema oscillante della flangia in u-scita per la compensazione delle deformazioni del telaio e del tamburo della betoniera

2. Designazione Ogni riduttore PMB è dotato di una targhetta metallica in una posizione accessibile per la lettura dei dati del-la stessa. La figura sottostante indica la targhetta. I dati presenti sulla targhetta sono rispettivamente:

Serial Number: numero di serie del riduttore (es. 07-01232) Part Number: codice di identificazione del ridut-tore (es. B60.1201.0) Customer Code/Model: indica normalmente il modello del riduttore (es. PMB6.5 R120). Su richiesta del cliente tale campo può contenere il codice del prodotto secondo la codifica dello stesso cliente.

I suddetti campi vanno comunicati all’assistenza tec-nica per identificare univocamente il prodotto.

1. Introduction The PMB series include gearboxes for the drive of the drum on a transit concrete mixers: PMB gearboxes feature:

Compact and solid structure Output bearing with highest load capacity Reduction gear with two planetary gear stages, which in some cases after a first spur gear stage Versions with available PTO for connection of an auxiliary water pump Exclusive oscillation system of the output flange, which compensates deformations of mixer frames and drum.

2. Designation Every PMB gearbox is supplied with a metallic label which should be read easily in order to identify the product. The following picture shows the metallic label, with the following fields:

Serial number: it’s the production serial number of the gearbox (eg. 07-01232) Part Number: is the code identification of the product (eg. B60.1201.0) Customer Code/Model: it normally contains the model of the gearbox (ex: PMB6.5 R1200). Based on customer’s request this field can be used to indicate the customer’s code for the gearbox.

The data indicated in the label must be sent to in orderto identify the gearbox without doubts.

3. Technical Data Maximum output torque T2max It’s the maximum intermittent allowable output torque, which can be reached as a peak torque or for short periods. Reduction ratio I It’s the ratio between input speed and output speed of the gearbox Maximum input speed n1max It’s the maximum intermittent input speed of the gear-box. Max radial load on the wheel FR max It’s the maximum static radial load allowable on the output flange Max radial load on the wheel FA max It’s the maximum static axial load allowable on the output flange Oil quantity Voil It’s the oil quantity required for the correct lubrications of gearbox.

4. Gearbox selection The concrete mixer gearbox selection must be se-lected by the mixer designer taking into account a series of parameters including the mixer net volume, drum installation angle, type and slump of concrete, the performance of the hydrostatic transmission, the desired working range of the diesel engine and so on. The following table shows the typical range of applica-tion of PMB gearboxes as a function of the volume of the mixer. Please contact the technical department for a customized selection of the gearbox, by providing the performance data of the mixer with the form attached at the end of this catalogue

4. Selezione del riduttore I riduttori per autobetoniera vengono selezionati dal progettista del mezzo tenendo conto di tutta una serie di parametri tra cui il volume della betoniera e l’angolo di montaggio, il tipo di calcestruzzo da miscelare e la sua viscosità, le caratteristiche della trasmissione i-drostatica, i regimi di funzionamento desiderati per il motore a combustione interna, ecc. La tabella seguente mostra il tipico range di applica-zione dei riduttori della serie PMB in funzione del solo volume utile della betoniera. Contattare l’ufficio tecnico per selezione accurata delriduttore, fornendo le caratteristiche delle betonieraindicate nelle pagine finali di questo catalogo.

Lubrication All PMB gearboxes are supplied without oil. Oil quan-tities indicated in the technical datasheet are just for reference, you should refer to the relative product manual. A correct lubrication insure a good working behaviour of the gearbox and the maximum possible life. Oil level should be verified according to the prod-uct manual and checked after the first 50 hours of work. Oil temperature should never exceed the maximum allowable temperature, normally around 100°C. Nor-mally the oil change interval is around 1500 hours. Oil type must be conform to the one specified in the product manual and must be chosen according to the ambient temperature where the gearbox is installed.

Lubrificazione Tutti i riduttori PMB sono forniti senza olio. Le quantità d’olio indicate in questa pubblicazione sono indicative, è necessario fare riferimento quanto indicato nei ma-nuali di uso e manutenzione di ciascun prodotto. Una corretta lubrificazione consente un buon funziona-mento del riduttore ed e la massima durata dello stes-so. Il livello d’olio va verificato in base a quanto indi-cato nel manuale di uso e manutenzione. Il livello dell’olio va riverificato dopo circa 50 ore di funziona-mento. La temperatura dell’olio non deve mai superare la massima temperatura consentita, solitamente attorno ai 100°C. Solitamente l’intervallo di cambio olio è di circa 1500 ore macchina. Il tipo d’olio scelto deve essere conforme a quanto indicato nel manuale di uso e manutenzione del pro-dotto e va scelto in base alla temperatura ambiente in cui lavora il riduttore.
