Membership Requirements

To play lacrosse, the coaches ask you to attend every practice and every game. Our home games and practices take place on the lower grass fields at RHS. To be able to play you must maintain 2.0 or at least pass four of your classes. Girls lacrosse has a very small amount of equipment. All you need are goggles, mouth guard, stick and cleats.

Miscellaneous Information

If you participate in Ridgefield Girls Lacrosse we hold many fundraisers. For example we each get to sell discount cards

that cost $20 and that money goes to RHS girls lacrosse. The cards give you a discount at tons of Ridgefield stores. Also

we play away games during the season, which means team bus ride. After the game each player receives a Corner Deli sandwich. A lot of the players do volunteer coaching, I for example coach the 1-4 grade house. We teach them the

basic lacrosse skills that will prepare them for future lacrosse.
