Watersmeet provides a venue for theatre, music, comedy, pantomime, ballet, dance and a variety of performance as well as films. The Friends of Watersmeet Film Society show a fantastic selection of mainstream films at the venue. Booking is recommended as many films sell out on the day itself.

You do not need to be a member to come to see the films, but members do pay a reduced entry, they also have a reserved seating area and are able to attend the social evenings held throughout the year.

Open Spaces Rickmansworth Aquadrome The Aquadrome LNR is open 365 days of the year and there is no admission charge. There is plenty of free parking available, including bays for disabled drivers and improvements have been made to the network of paths around the reserve so wheelchair users can get around easily. At the centre of the Aquadrome are two lakes, formed by the extraction of the gravel used in the construction of the original Wembley Stadium. Batchworth Lake is fished and is home to the water-skiing club. Next door Bury Lake is used for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. There is a children's play area next to Batchworth Lake, with access off Riverside Drive. The Chilterns The Chiltern Hills stretch from the River Thames in Oxfordshire to Hitchin in Hertfordshire and are nationally protected as some of the finest countryside in the UK. The Chilterns is one of the best places in the UK to go for a walk or bike ride. With 2000km of well-signposted footpaths and bridleways you can explore every part of this beautiful area on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. Walk through bluebell woods in spring or the blaze of leaves which carpet the beechwoods in the autumn. Enjoy open hillsides covered in spring and summer flowers and watch out for red kites overhead.
