From the American Colonies, the heart of Mexico, the goldmines of Australia, the mountaintops of South America, the shores of Greece, and the walls of the Alamo, we will find mankind desperately striving for liberty and freedom through the 18th and 19th centuries. Most of the time he will achieve it-but seldom without heartache, revolution, and bloodshed.

The students will be required to read 3 lessons a week at home. (2-4 pages per lesson) We will be doing the extracurricular activities in the class along with some discussion. Tests will be optional to the parents. I want this to be a fun, hands on class to go with the reading at home.

Parents, I suggest going to http://www.themysteryofhistory.com/history-curriculum/ for more insight into this curriculum.
