A. Hugo Bowers, Jr.
In 1976, a dream was visualized in the mind of A. Hugo Bowers. Marva, Al’s wife of over 44 years, supported that
dream of: creating a diverse company that could thrive and sustain their family in North Carolina, Virginia, and
Maryland. Together, they built Bowers Family Enterprises (BFE), one of Richmond-Metro’s premier Black owned and
operated companies. Two of their sons (Sean and Travis Bowers) have been trained from entry level positions within
BFE over the last 21 years. Their youngest son (Julian) has begun training in the business as well. The company
continues to rise to new levels of prosperity and growth, and have made it possible for BFE to compete in an
extremely competitive marketplace. BFE’s family and devoted employees work closely with each other to perpetuate
and expand the dream. The BFE team is a phone call away from providing you with professional services or products
to make your dream become a reality. Cost-efficient, high quality construction services. Satisfied clients can be found
in Virginia, North Carolina, and Prince George’s County Maryland.
A successful family business working smart and hard!
