Status of RICH Offline/Online Software• simulation - up to PRDF generation

– PISA/STAF response chain working– no need or plan to change it

• offline - PRDF to DST– wrapped STAF reconstruction chain working

• a few know limitations exist

– no more patch for (wrapped) STAF modules– entire chain will be rewritten in ROOT/PHOOL

• online - monitoring and calibration– PMT gain sorting used PAW/kuip– no real monitoring/calibration tools yet

Known Limitations and Pending Tasks• improvement of track/ring association

– use of new DC track model• better correction for focusing effect

• development of monitoring/calibration tools• implementation of DAO/DGO/DCO• implementation of database access• PRDF event merging

Plans/Priorities/Schedule (roughly in descending order of priority)

• PRDF/DDPool access– an important part of FEE activities– prerequisite for other tasks

• T. Matsumoto (July 1999)

• calibration code– higher priority than offline code upgrade– w/ DCO, database access

• K.Shigaki (August 1999)

• monitoring tool• Y.Akiba (August 1999)

Plans/Priorities/Schedule (continued roughly in descending order of priority)

• new offline chain– w/ DC track model, DGO, DAO

• Y. Akiba + K.Shigaki (September-October 1999)

• PRDF event merging• (September 1999 ?)
