    RIBBON MURUKU

    INGREDIENTS1 1/3 cup - Besan flour(Chickpea flour)

    1/2 cup - Riceflour

    1 tbsp - Dalda(Vegetable shortening)

    1 tsp - Chilli powder

    1/2 tsp - Sesame seeds

    Salt to taste

    METHOD1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl.

    2. Mix some water. Add 1 tbsp at a time.

    3. The consistency should be such that it is neither too hard nor too soft.

    4. Take a Ribbon Murukku maker and keep it ready.

    5. Fill the prepared dough in the maker and press it over some oil heated in a pan for deep fry.

    6. Let it fry for a minute and then slowly turn it the other side.

    7. Remove it with a slotted spoon once it has turned golden brown on both sides.
