    Butifourgospelbehid,itishidtothemthatarelost:Inwhomthegodofthisworldhathblindedthemindsofthemwhichbelievenot,lestthelightoftheglorious

    gospelofChrist,whoistheimageofGod,shouldshineuntothem(2Corinthians4:3-4).

    rom the scripture above, it’s clear that it’s Satan that hasblindedtheeyesofthosewhohaven’tbelievedtheGospel.But

    Satanandalldemonsaresubject toyouinJesus’Name;noexception.Wehave complete authority over them. But some people have asked,“How about thewords of Jesus to His disciples when they askedwhythey couldn’t cast a certain demon out, andHe replied,“Howbeit thiskindgoethnotoutbutbyprayerandfasting”(Matthew17:21)?First,notice thatJesusdidn’tsay itwasn’tpossible for themtocast thedevilout.Moreover,thatwasbeforetheredemptivedeathandresurrectionofJesus.Havingspoiledallprincipalityandpower,itdoesn’trequireprayingandfastingforyoutocastanyofthemoutnow.Theauthorityhasbeengiventous(Colossians2:15;Matthew28:18-19).

  • When you have a friend or loved one whom you’ve discerned isbeingheldbondagebySatan from receiving theGospel, cast thedevilout.Yousay,“Ibreakthepowerofthedeviloverhismind,overhis life,andIclaimhissalvationandcall itdone, inJesus’Name! Idecreethathe’dcometotheLord!Ireleaseministeringspiritstogoforthandguidehispathuntosalvation,anditshallbeso,intheNameoftheLordJesus!”

    However, after making those declarations, continue to intercede,becausethere’salsothepartoftheperson’sownwilltoserveGod.EvenafterSatan’s influence isbroken, it’sup toan individual tomakeuphismindtoservetheLord.Thepartthatinvolvestheindividual’swillrequirespersistentintercession.Ifyou’regoingtoinfluenceaman’swill,youcan’tjustdoitbytheprayeroffaith;ithastobebytheprayerofintercession.

    ntil Jesus came, people didn’t have the accurate informationabout demons and evil spirits. A lot of things thatmany had

    thoughtwereordinarywereshownbyJesustobespiritual.For example, He made us aware that most sicknesses and

    diseaseshaddevilsbehindthem.Whentheybroughtsomeonewhowasdeaf anddumb toHim, theBible saysHe cast the spirit out.And rightaway,thedeafearswereunstoppedandthepersonbegantohear,andthedumbtonguewasloosened.Luke11:14says,“Andhewascastingoutadevil,and itwasdumb.And itcame topass,when thedevilwasgoneout,thedumbspake;andthepeoplewondered.”

    Mark1:32-34revealsthesametruth:“Andateven,whenthesundidset,theybroughtuntohimallthatwerediseased,andthemthatwerepossessedwithdevils.Andallthecitywasgatheredtogetheratthedoor.Andhehealedmanythatweresickofdiversdiseases,

  • and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak,because they knew him.” There’re many today that are ignorant ofdemonicactivities.But thereality is, there’reevilspirits thatarerunningpeople’s lives. Sometimes, you find someone who has a fierce andviolent temper. They said his father was like that, and he thinks it’snormal,butit’snot.It’sevilspiritsthatmakethosethingshappen.

    TheBibletalksofuncleanspirits,whichalsomakepeopleunclean,and do evil things in the lives of human beings. Some of them areresponsibleforthefrustrationssomepeopleexperienceintheirlives.Youfind very successful people in various fields who suddenly fall back toemptiness.They loseeverything,not knowing they’rebeing invadedbydemonicforces.

    ButthanksbeuntoGod!InChrist,youhaveauthorityoverdemonstocastthemoutfromyouraffairs.Youdon’tneedaministertohelpyoucastoutdemons.JesussaideveryoneofuswhobelievesinHimwouldcastoutdevilsinHisName(Mark16:17);it’sasignofourdivinity.So,ifthere’vebeeneventsandactionsaroundyou thatyou’reuncomfortablewith,andyouperceiveSatantobebehindthem,casthimout!

    CONFESSIONThank you, blessed Lord, formy authority in Christ over demonsand the powers of darkness. Even now, I walk in the light of thisauthoritybyforbiddingSatanandhisdemonsfromexertinguponorinfluencing anything that has to do with me. I hold off demonicactivities inmyfamilyandworkplace today, in theNameofJesus.Amen.

    here’s a strong connection between bad habits and demonicinfluence; and frankly, they flow into each other. The human

    personisaspirit,andso,ifhehasahabit,it’saspiritualhabit.Habitsareformedfromrepetitionofactions.There’regoodhabitsandthere’rebadhabits. If you practise good actions, they result in good habits; if youpractisebadactions,theyresultinbadhabits.

    Satan often takes the opportunity of bad habits to manipulatepeople.However,hecan’tforcehiswilluponanyoneordinarily;rather,it’saboutmanyieldinghimself to thedevilor refusingtodoso. Ifheyieldshimself tothedevil, thenthedevil takesadvantageofhim.Mostpeopleyieldthemselveswithoutrealizingthey’redoingit.Hence,walkinginthespiritandtheknowledgeoftheWordisvitaltoavictoriousChristianlife.

    Inouropeningscripture,Jesussaid,“NowyearecleanthroughthewordwhichIhavespokenuntoyou.”ThismeanstheWordofGodisacleanser;itpurifiesyou.IfyoutaketheWordofGodandmeditateon

  • it, it’ll rid you of anything that’s unwholesomeor unclean. It’ll eradicatethedarknessfromyourlife.

    Once,Iwasministeringtoalady,andrebukingthedevil fromher,andtherewasayoungmanstandingbehindmeamongthosewhowerewatching.WhenIwasdone,hegotmyattentionandsaid,“Pastor,Iusedtohavethesameproblemthatyoujustdealtwithinthatlady.Ihadthosesameevilspiritsinme.”Isaid,“Sowhathappened?”Hesaid,“Throughmeditation onGod’sWord, they all leftme.” That’s the power ofGod’sWord!

    Youdon’tneedtohavedeliveranceservicestocastoutdevilsfromChristians;teachthemtheWord.TheChristianissuperiortoSatan;he’sseatedwithChrist, faraboveprincipalityandpower.So, if you’vebeenundersomedemonicattacksor influence, ifyou’dconsciouslymeditateonGod’sWord,you’llfreeyourself.Youcansay,“IntheNameofJesusChrist,IbreaktheinfluenceofSatanandevilspiritsovermylifeandmyactionsandrefusetoyieldtotheirswayhenceforth!”

    CONFESSIONIwalk inperfectionandexcellence, producingworksand fruitsofrighteousness,becauseIliveintheWord.TheWordofGodhastheascendancyinmylifeandpurifiesmethroughandthrough—spirit,soulandbody. I’msensitivetotheleadingoftheHolySpirit inmylife,whocausesmetowalkinGod’sperfectwillandinthegloryofGod.Amen.

    example,youcouldfindthatasaChristian,youseemtobeexperiencingacertainkindofpainordiscomfortthatwouldn’tgoaway.Youmighthaveprayed, rebuked the pain, and even rebuked the devil, but to no avail.Now,you’rewonderingwhattheproblemcouldbe.Looktoyourspiritfortheanswer.

    AsGod’schildren,we’reneverinthedarkaboutanything.Youcanknowanything,ifyou’ddowhattheScripturesays.Speakintonguesandreceive answers from your spirit; your inner man. Before long, themysteryaboutthatsituationwillcometoyourunderstanding.Jesussaid,“...he that followethmeshall notwalk indarkness, but shall havethe lightof life” (John8:12).You’renotsupposed towalk indarkness

    ThelightofGodisinyourspirit.TheBiblesays,“ThespiritofmanisthecandleoftheLord,searchingalltheinwardpartsofthebelly”(Proverbs 20:27). If you have concerns about your health or aboutanything, speak in tongues.Don’t just run to thedoctorsorplacesyouthink you might find help. Consult with the Holy Spirit first; you’ll beamazedhowquicklyHislightandwisdomwillwellupwithinyou,showingyou precisely what to do. He’s in you to help you understand certainthingsaboutyourselfandaboutlife.He’llshowyouthefutureandguideyoutotakespecificstepsinlinewithHisplansforyourlife.Hallelujah!

    future; you chart your course. You’re the product of your words.Therefore, it’sup toyou tochartyourcourse foragreaterandbrighterfuture,withyourwords.Don’ttalktopromotetheproblemsanddifficultiesyou’refacing;declareyourvictories.Havetherightwordsinyourmouth.

    YoumayhavereadtheinspiringstoryoftheShunammitewomanin2 Kings 4:8-36. Even though her son had died, she hurried off to theProphet Elisha with only one declaration on her lips, “It is well.” Shewasn’tscreamingforhelporcomplaining;rather,shewenttotheprophetofGodwiththerightconfession,andshegotamiracle.Shedidn’tspeakon thebasisofhersituation; rather,shespoke inagreementwithGod.TheBiblesaysinIsaiah3:10DRB,“Saytothejustman(therighteous)thatitiswell….”

  • Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that you shall have what you say; thewoman said it waswell, and her confession produced results. Choosealwaystomaketherightconfessions.MeditateontheWordtohelpyouformtherightmind-set,becausebeforeyoucantalkright,youmustfirstthink right. God’s Word renews your mind and produces faith in yourheart.

    This is why you must constantly fellowship with the Word.Colossians3:16 says to let theWorddwell in you richly; let it gain themasteryinyou,andoutofthatabundance,you’llspeak(Matthew12:34).TheWord on your lipswill prevail and catapult you to higher levels ofsuccess,victoryandprosperity.

    Godalreadyordainedyourtriumphantandvictoriouslife;yourroleistorespondbyaffirmingthesamethingsinconsent(Hebrews13:5-6).Even now, affirm that you have a great life. Acknowledge and declarethat you’re excellent and full of glory, living the life of righteousness,dominionandgloryinChristJesus.Hallelujah!

    CONFESSIONIspeakwisdom,yetnotthewisdomofthisworld,noroftheprincesofthisworldthatcometonought,butdivinewisdom;it’sheardinmy words and seen in my actions.     instructioninrighteousness(2Timothy3:16).

    omepeoplegrewupinhomeswherenoonecouldreprimandthemforwrongdoing;noteven theirparents. Itexplainswhy,

    evenaftergiving theirhearts toChrist, theystill find itdifficult toacceptcorrection in thehouseofGod.But that isn’t right foraChristian.Readour theme verse again; it says God’s Word is profitable for doctrine,rebuke,correctionandinstructioninrighteousness.

    You have to learn to accept correction in the house of God,because that’s one of the ways by which the Holy Spirit, through theWord,helpsyoudevelopgodlycharacter.Behumbleandpayattentiontoyour leaders as they instruct you in the Word. There’re certain thingspeople learnt in their natural lives before coming to Christ; things thataren’tconsistentwiththeChrist-nature.Thosethingsaren’tsuddenlyputaway by salvation. That’s the reason for the renewing of the mind,throughmeditationonGod’sWord.Forexample,Ephesians4:31 says,

  • “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evilspeaking,beputawayfromyou,withallmalice.”ThiswaswrittentopeoplewhowerealreadyChristians.

    It’s important that you yield to theWord tomould your characterandgiveyouanewmind-set.Refusetoacceptandallowyoursensestodominate or control you.Don’t be inflatedwith pridewhen someone istalking to you, trying to correct you with the Word of God. Acceptingrebukeandcorrectionishumility;itrevealsyourgreatness,becausetrulygreatpeopleareveryhumble.

    PRAYERPreciousFather,IthankyouforyourWordthat’sprofitabletomefordoctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction inrighteousness, and that brings perfection intomy life. I’m foreveryieldedtothelordshipofyourWord,tomouldmeinexcellenceandhumility,inJesus’Name.Amen.

    andbeyond.Butdidyouknowthatmuchmorethanthethingsyousayasyouwitness forChrist,your life is the realmessage?Whenpeopleseeyou,whatwouldbe their testimonyofyouas itpertains toChrist?Yourlifeistherealmessage.Inotherwords,whatyoupreachandteachmustfirstbeevidentinyourownlife.

    It’softensaid,“Practisewhatyoupreach”;butthereverse,“Preachwhatyoupractise”isalsoright.It’sahardselltotrytoimpactsomeoneelsewithamessageorGospelthathasn’tyetimpactedyourownlife.So,asoneordainedtobearthemessageofthedivinelife,theimpactofthatmessagemustfirstreflectinthequalityofyourpersonality.

    Peopleshouldlookatyouandseetheresultsofyourpreaching.Itbegins with you digesting the Word for yourself; understanding it and

  • doing theWord in every situation.Become fully yielded to theWordofGod to mould your life and character and help you lead a life ofrighteousness.Thatway,you’llcertainlybearfruitsofrighteousness.

    2 Corinthians 3:6 AMPC says that God “…has qualified us[making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers anddispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not[ministers]oftheletter(oflegallywrittencode)butoftheSpirit….”Nevertheless, the realmessage that youhave is a revelationofwhat’sinsideyou.

    Don’tbea “professionalpreacher.”Nomatterwhatyoupreachorteach,attheendoftheday,themostimportantthingisthetruelifethatyou have inside; that’s your real message. Therefore, invest in God’sWord forpersonaldevelopment.Buildyour lifewith theWordby takingyourtimesofstudyandmeditationseriously.

    CONFESSIONMy life is amessage; amessage of the divine life, ofGod’s love,goodness, righteousness and true holiness; these are expressedunreservedly tomyworld. I’m fully yielded to theWord to culturemylifeandcharacter,givingmetherightmindset,inJesus’Name.Amen.

    ne of the things you want to see in your life is consistentsuccess. When I say, “I’m always moving upward and

    forward,”it’snotanexaggerationoraconfessionofsomethingthatIwanttohappen;no! It’s the realityofmy life,madepossibleby thepowerofGod’sWord.I’malwaysmakingprogress;that’sourlifeinChrist.

    You can be very consistent, making progress in your work, inministry, and in every area of your life. For the Christian, beingcircumstantially prosperous isn’t prosperity. Some people can beprosperous because of the conditions of the time.When the economicconditionsarefavourable,theydowell,butwhenthere’sachange,theirprosperitytakesanosedive.That’snotgoodenough.

    Study Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; they prospered, walking withGod,irrespectiveoftheeconomicconditionsofthetimes.Genesis26:12-14talksaboutIsaac,andhowheprosperedsomuchatatimeoffamine,

    This ishow itought tobe foreveryoneofus,becausewe’re theseed of Abraham. Everything about God and the life He’s given usdepicts consistency. Therefore, refuse to settle for undulating success.Declare,“Mylifeisupwardandforwardonly,”andthensticktotheWord.PractisetheWord;that’sthesecrettoalifeofunendingsuccess.

    1Timothy4:15(GNB)letsusknowthatmeditatingontheWordofGod is the guarantee for sustainable progress. Paul wrote to Timothy:“Practice these things and devote yourself to them, in order thatyourprogressmaybeseenbyall.”Hallelujah!

    hen you study the verse above in the Amplified ClassicVersion, you’d notice a bit of difference. It says, “[No] you

    yourselves are our letter of recommendation (our credentials),writteninyourhearts,tobeknown(perceived,recognized)andreadbyeverybody.”Noticetheunderlinedphrase;intheNIVandtheKJV,itsays “our hearts”while theAmplified says, “your hearts.”Why is theresuchadifference?

    Whenthetranslatorswork,theydon’talwaysfocusonallthepointsthatarerequired.Sometimes,theyfocusonprinciple,context,messageorpurelanguage.Itdependsonwhattheirvisionwasandtheirreadinessto reviewcomplexities in the text.Whenyou find somecomplexareas,what youneed is theministry of theSpirit to really give you guidance.The verse above is a complex area; not the verse itself, but the truthpackagedtherein; it’ssuchapowerfulreality,butabitcomplex. Itsays,“…you yourselves are our letter of recommendation (our

    example, youprobably got excitedat the truths.But thatwasawrittenepistle;andheretheBiblesaysyou’realivingepistle,knownandreadbyeverybody;aletterfromChrist!Thisisamazing.WhoisJesus?He’sthelivingWord;theWordwhobecameflesh.TobeChrist’sepistle,therefore,meansyou’reChrist’sWordinflesh,andChrist’sWordisGod’sWord.

    So,you’retheWordofGodinflesh.Somepeoplecan’thandlethiswith their religiousmind,but it’ssimple tounderstandwhenyou realizethat in life,everythinggivesbirthafter its kind:dogsgivebirth todogs;humansgivebirthtohumans;theWordgivesbirthtotheWord.1Peter1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but ofincorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.” As offsprings of the Word, we’re the epistles (word) of Christ.Hallelujah!

  • oftheGospel.PaulwasgivenadispensationofittobringtotheChurch,but it’s thesameGospel.Peterbringsthegeneralityof theGospel,andPaulbringsthespecific,intricate,analyticaldetailsoftheGospel;howtheChurchshouldrun.HewroteaboutthestructureoftheChurch,andthenewcreationinChrist;hewrotethoserevelationsin“letters”—epistlestothechurches.

    Now, there’s theWordofGodministeredtoyou(the letter),whichyou’ve received to become the “epistle of Christ,” but thatmay not besufficientforthelifethatGodwantsyoutolive.So,whatareyougoingtodo?You’vegot to “write”yourown truthas inspiredby theWord.Readtheconcludingpartofour themeverseagain; itshows theresultof theministry of the Word that came to you. The Word of faith has beenministered to you; you’vebecomeabearerormessengerof that sameword;youbelieveit,you’retalkingit,butthat’snotenough,becausewhatyouhaveiswhathasbeenministeredtoyou.There’resomeothersthatyouhaveto“write”ordraftforyourself.

    Theoneyouheardpreachedortaughtwaswrittentoyou,orwritteninto you—into the tablet of yourheart.Butwhenyou’redonewith that,likewhenyou’redonestudyingtoday’sdevotional,whatareyougoingtowrite?   • ThisisthereasonformeditatingontheWord.There’rethreelevelsofmeditation: you ponder, youmutter, and you roar. You think throughtheWord,mutter or speak it under your breath, and then you voice it.Whenitgetstocomingoutofyourmouthboldly,you’rewritingitonyourheart—on the tables of your heart. If you don’t write it in your heart,you’renotgoingtohaveitwhenyouneedit.So,writetheWordinyourheartwithyourtongue,byaffirmations.

    Yourtongueisthepenofaskillfulwriter;asyoustudyor listentotheWord,you findyourheartoverflowingwith thiscomposition.AsyouspeakforththeWord,itgetsframedonyourheart.

    Writing it in your notes iswith ink; butHewants itwritten on thefleshytablesofyourheart.Readit;itsays,“...writtennotwithink,butwiththeSpiritofthelivingGod;notintablesofstone,butinfleshytablesof theheart” (2Corinthians 3:3).Hallelujah!When you have itinside,outof thatabundance,you’llbringforthgoodthings.BlessedbeGod!

    heLordJesussufferedandenduredthepainandshameoftheCross, not because of His sins or for Himself, but for us. He

    To be justified means to be acquitted of guilt; to be declaredrighteous. He was our substitute in death as well as our substitute inresurrection.WhenHedied,youdiedwithHim;whenHewasburied,youwereburiedwithHim.WhenGod raisedHim from thedead, youwerealsoraisedtogetherwithHiminnewnessoflife!Now,you’resin-free;atcomplete liberty to serve the Lord and live for Him in glory andrighteousness. You’ve become not just righteous, but also therighteousnessofGodinChristJesus.Suchablessedreality!

    Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 4:26-27: “…So is thekingdomofGod,asifamanshouldcastseedintotheground;Andshould sleep, and rise night andday, and the seed should springandgrowup,heknowethnothow.”Allthesowerneededwastosowtheseed;andtheseedistheWord,andtheheartofmanisthegroundthat receives it (Mark 4:14-15).     Jesusspoke toa fig tree,and itshrivelledup from its roots (Mark11:14,20-21).IfcreationcameaboutbyreasonofwordsspokenbyGod,itmeans that therearesoundcodes ineveryparticle,matterorobject;andso,theycanallrespondtothesoundcodeswereleasethroughourwords.Thisalsosuggeststhatthebasicconstituentofmatterissound.

    WeseeEzekiel,by thevalleyofdrybones: theLordsaid toHim,“Prophesy to the bones.” The Bible specifically states that the boneswereverydry; “lifeless”;butat thewordsofEzekiel, thebonesmoved,andtheSpiritenteredthem(Ezekiel37:1-10).Likewise,youcanusetherightsoundcodes tocreate thekindof lifeyoudesire.     he Spirit’s construction through the Apostle Paul of the verseabove is rather interesting. First, it shows that you’re not an

    earthly being. The only “members” or part of your personality that’searthlyisyourphysicalbody;that’syourinstrumentforfunctioningintheearth. You’re essentially a spirit being. Therefore, you can control yourbody.

    Observe the word, “Mortify” in our opening verse; it’s the Greek,“nekroō,”where theEnglishderived“necrosis.”Necrosis is thedeathofbodytissueresultingfromaninterruptionofbloodflowtothattissue.Forexample, if there’s a problemwith the supply of blood to the limb, thattissuedies.WhatthenistheSpirittellingushere?

    Itmeansyou’reto“cutoff”thesupply,theverythingthatfeedstheevil and unwholesome desires lurking in your members—sexual vices,

    “Sophia” is theoretical wisdom and insight into reality; it’s thecollective understanding of things. “Sunesis” is critical wisdom; that is,mental or analytical knowledge; the ability to understand concepts andseerelationshipsbetweenthem.But“Phronesis”ispracticalwisdom;it’saforcethatmakesyoudoandsaytherightthingsbeforeyoueventhink.

    Therefore, if you’re in this situation of “conceptualizing” and not“acting,”begin tohavedailysessionsofmeditatingon theWord.BeginwithPhilippians2:13;severaltimeseveryday,yousayoutloud,“ForitisGodwhoworksinme,bothtowillandtodoofHisgoodpleasure.He’seffectively at work inme, strengthening and energizingme, not just tothink or know what to do, but to actually do them.” Practise this longenoughandyou’llneverhavedreamsorgoalsthatdidn’tmaterialize.

    lives. For example, in Mark 7:13, Jesus rebuked the Jews for makingGod’sWordofnon-effectbytheirtradition.“Tradition”herereferstoyourway of life, your personal culture, and the things you believe. If thesethingsareinconsistentwiththeWordofGod,youmaketheWordofnon-effectinyourlife,andyourfaithismadevoid.

    Some people are putting their faith to work all right, but it’s notworking, because they’ve made it void by their “traditions.” What theyought to do is change their “traditions”; adopt a new mind-set; themindsetofGod’swisdom.

    Trustinginyourownworksalsovoidsyourfaith.Ifyouthinkyou’rehealthy and successful and blessed just because you’re doing somethings right, and now you trust so much in those things and do themreligiously because you think that ritual is the sustenance of your

    e read in theBookofActs thatGodwroughtmanyunusualmiracles through the hands of Paul. Handkerchiefs and

    apronsweretakenfromhisbody,andwhenthosematerialswerebroughtin contact with sick people, they were healed and those who wereoppressedofdemonsweresetfree.

    But something interesting to note is that the handkerchiefs andapronsdidn’tdoanything;theyhadnointelligenceormindoftheirown.However,theyhadbecomeimpactedwiththeSpirittobecomeaconduitfor God’s power.     hy did Peter, a disciple of Jesus Christ, deny Jesus threetimes?Itwasbecauseoffear.Hewasafraidthathecouldbe

    Such still happens today.     hastdone?Andthewomansaid,Theserpentbeguiledme,andIdideat.14 And theLORDGodsaidunto the serpent,Because thouhast

    donethis,thouartcursedaboveallcattle,andaboveeverybeastofthefield;uponthybellyshaltthougo,anddustshaltthoueatallthedaysofthylife:

    15 AndIwillputenmitybetweentheeandthewoman,andbetweenthyseedandherseed;itshallbruisethyhead,andthoushaltbruisehisheel.

    16 Unto thewomanhesaid, Iwill greatlymultiply thy sorrowandthyconception; in sorrow thoushalt bring forth children;and thydesireshallbetothyhusband,andheshallruleoverthee.

    17 AnduntoAdamhesaid,Becausethouhasthearkeneduntothevoiceofthywife,andhasteatenofthetree,ofwhichIcommandedthee,saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; insorrowshaltthoueatofitallthedaysofthylife;

    18 Thornsalsoandthistlesshallitbringforthtothee;andthoushalteattheherbofthefield;

    19 Inthesweatofthyfaceshaltthoueatbread,tillthoureturnuntotheground;foroutofitwastthoutaken:fordustthouart,anduntodustshaltthoureturn.

    20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was themotherofallliving.

    21 UntoAdamalsoandtohiswifedidtheLORDGodmakecoatsofskins,andclothedthem.

    22 AndtheLORDGodsaid,Behold,themanisbecomeasoneof

  • us,toknowgoodandevil:andnow,lestheputforthhishand,andtakealsoofthetreeoflife,andeat,andliveforever:

    23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden ofEden,totillthegroundfromwhencehewastaken.

    24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of thegardenofEdenCherubims,andaflamingswordwhichturnedeveryway,tokeepthewayofthetreeoflife.
