help of “Emanagineer India”, New Delhi.

2.Two days “Auto Tech Fest-2010” was organized on 11th &

12th October, 2010 with the help of SAE India club.

3.A three days workshop on computer hardware assembly

techniques organized in Sept’10 for the 1st year students.

4. Students of EC department presented paper in National Conference on “IT-Contemporary and Future Technologies for Social Change” organised by COMPUTER SOCIETY OF INDIA(CSI).They also attended workshops on ‘MOBITRONICS’ at IIITM Gwalior & ‘ROBOTICS’ at MANIT Bhopal.

5. A three days Tech fest “Mechanica- 2011” was conducted from 28th to 30th April, 2011.

6. One day Seminar on financial management was organized on 14th Sept’ 10 for 3rd and final year students of BE & MCA with the help of Experts from ICFAI.

7. One day training on ‘Embedded System ‘was organized in Oct 2010 with the help DUCAT , Gwalior.

8. Paper on “Fractional Calculus & Digital Circuit Synthesis using Genetic Algorithm & PSO” prepared by 2 students of Electronics dept,published in techfest of IIT, Roorkee in september 2010

9. Two students of Auto Engg have qualified from Gwalior Zone to participate in National Solid Modeling contest organized by Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad in Feb’1.1.

Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurship Awareness CampAwareness Camp

Three days Entrepreneurship awareness camp

was organized from 23rd to 25th Feb’ 11. The

program was sponsored by the Department of

Science & Technology; Govt of India. Besides

students of RJIT & BSF Polytechnics, faculty

members of RJIT have attended the camp.

A similar camp is being conducted now-a-days

from 02-Feb-2012 to 04-Feb-2012.

Faculty Development Faculty Development Program Program Short term training programme of 5 days was organized

w.e.f. 03 to 7th May 2011 on simulation & modeling

techniques, for faculty member of different Engineering

and Polytechnic Colleges of Madhya Pradesh. 35 faculty

members from various engineering colleges from all over

the country and 15 RJIT faculty members attended the

programme .

The STTP was sponsored by Directorate of Technical

Education, Bhopal.

• An expert Lecture - for one hour by Prof. Pinky Saxena on the topic “Psychology of Adolescent” for women and girl students.

• An expert Lecture – for one hour by Smt. Neha Khare, Asstt Manager SBI & Shri A K Sharraf, Manager UCO Bank, on the topic “Modern Banking System & facilities” for women and students.

• Lecture on “Communication System & CDMA Technology” by Prof. Aditya Trivedi, ABV-IIITM, Gwalior for students of pre-final & final of Electronics.

Projects & ProposalsProjects & Proposals• CM - GRANT IN AID:- Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan,

Honorable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, during his visit to BSF Academy on 17 July 2010, announced a grant in aid of Rs 50 lakh for the development of the institute. The money is under process of release.

• AICTE IIPC Cell:– For the first time , Institution has received a sum of Rs 7 Lakhs for establishing IIPC cell .

• IGNOU Study Centre:- Institute has initiated for establishment of IGNOU study centre in RJIT which would not only facilitate higher Studies to students but also help BSF personnel for acquire higher education.

• Opening of new branches:- AICTE New Delhi has approved B.E Mechanical course @ 60 students from the academic session 2011-12.

• M.Tech in Automobile:- AICTE New Delhi has approved M.Tech in Automobile Engg course @ 18 students from the academic session 2011-12.

Cultural ActivitiesCultural Activities1. Engineer’s Day celebrated on 5th September, 2010, on the

occasion of the birth anniversary of Sir M. Vishvashwaraiya,.

The students shared their views on the occasion.

2. 1st year Freshers’ cultural fest was organized at RJIT from

27th to 29th Sept’ 10 to make the new comers acquainted

with various departments, faculty and staff members. The

1st year students exhibited their talents during the fest.

3. The Annual Cultural Program of RJIT “Abhivyanjana-11” was

organized on 1st April, 2011, in which Shri V N Rai, IPS Spl.

DG/Director, BSF Academy was the chief guest.

4. Women's Day was celebrated on 8th March ’11. Besides

senior faculty , BSF lady Wives , eminent speakers from

Gwalior delivered speech on role of women in modern

society & their responsibilities towards the upliftment of

rural women.
