It does not have to be designed in Java, but the college staff must be able to update without great difficulty. Database can be SQL or any program that can be updated by college staff.

What would be the total number of users of this website and what would be the peak load on this site?

Users of the web site – college community Users of CMS – 5-10 people initially Web site hosted by our system office, so peak load not an issue.

No There is a requirement for Smart Catalog Product. How frequently will the products be updated? What is the business logic behind it?

No, it does not need to interface with external systems. It is a closed box system We typically do not host websites. We prefer to help our clients set up hosting and have them pay the hosting company directly. Is that suitable t your needs? I assume you already have a hosting package. I just wanted to confirm.

Yes, our website is hosted by our system office. Will you be considering bids from agencies outside of Connecticut?

We need a functional page. What CMS system are you using?

We are not currently using a CMS system. Will we be integrating the pages into CMS or just handing off the templates to you?

We need students who register for courses online to be able to submit payment at the same time.

Smart Catalog is a content management system for our college catalog. The files are in a separate database that the college maintains and are periodically “published” to our web site. The information appears on its own pages. It will remain a separate database and we will upload the files to our web site.
