Course OutlineThe knowledge of RF andMicrowave Fundamentals is essential for the indepthunderstanding of any communication network.
This course is designed withtwo objectives–
1 to provide an introductory training to refresh the RF & Microwave basic concepts and
2 to discuss the measurement fundamentals at high frequencies.
It helps to clearly understandthe various terms frequentlyused in the day-to-day work.The behaviour and characteris-tics of the various componentsand networks is also discussed.It enables the participants tounderstand the measurementsfundamentals and techniquesused at RF/MW frequencies andalso the effective use of testinstruments like NetworkAnalyzer, Spectrum Analyzerand Power Meter for accuratemeasurements.
