15 May 2014 To Whom It May Concern, I am delighted to write a recommendation for Mr Eric Reynolds for a position of increased responsibility in a school, such as Assistant Principal, Guidance Counselor or other administrator. I have worked with Eric for the past two years and have good sense of his skills and character. I have found Eric to be one of the best teachers I have called a colleague. His skills are particularly suited to higher levels of responsibility. Eric is the consummate professional and is one of the most respected faculty members at the academy. Missouri Military Academy is a difficult teaching environment and it requires a lot of patience and persistence to get anything accomplished. Eric works through those challenges and always stays focused on the most important thing: taking care of the student. Eric does everything to the highest standards. He not only demands the most out of his students, he also achieves excellent results. His coaching is an example of this. MMA athletic teams usually suffer from the high rate of student turnover of the school, although his soccer teams were the most successful of any sport on campus. His patience and persistence with the reinforcing of standards raised the performance of the team and got them further than all other teams at the academy. Eric also does everything with the highest ethics and is a role model for the cadets. He has the respect of all cadets because he leads by example. Eric’s character is always above reproach and I would trust him with any task or resources. He always puts the education mission ahead of his own needs and never fails to get the job done. I am glad to help Eric in any way regarding a new employment situation. I am departing as well to become the Dean of Academics at Father Tolton Catholic High School in the fall.
