When you first come in you will see this desk on your right. You can check out books and return books here. You are only allowed 2 books at a time. Also, any questions you have can be answered at this desk.

You are required to read 25 books this year for your 25 book campaign. It is important that you understand what you are looking for when you come into the media center. AR books will have blue stickers on them. The ZPD level is on the inside page of the book. If it meets your level read it, if not look for a book on your level or above.

The Non-fiction books are located to the far left and the back wall of the media center. All books are arranged according to the Dewey Decimal system. The high stacks are Non-fiction.

The fiction books are located just to the left upon entering the media center in the low stacks. They are arranged in alphabetical order. The Non-fiction books are in the high stacks. *Make sure they meet your ZPD level.

The reference section is to the left of the circulation desk. These books can not be checked out. They are to be used in the media center ONLY for research purposes.

Your favorite magazines are located next to the circulation desk. These magazines can not be checked out. They are to be used in the media center ONLY.

Events are always going on at the media center. We have book fairs, book clubs, etc. Listen to the morning announcements for updates.
