Permanent double-edge grip

The innovative synchronized ski system makes stress-free skiing possible, even on icy and rough ski slopes, because the skis remain parallel at all times and both inside edges always stay synchronized in contact with the surface. Snowrails guarantee optimal directional stability and smooth downhill running, which improves the gliding characteristics. Crossing the skis and edge mistakes are no longer possible, and the dangerous forces generated in turns are evenly distributed to both legs. With Snowrails, you always run perfectly parallel, as if on rails, and anyone can look just great.

A new way to enjoy winter fun. How they work: The patented double-crossbar system connects two specially modified carving skis together in such a way that they remain perfectly parallel during longitudinal shifting, and the edge angles of both running surfaces are always synchronized, with the same direction and angle. The two crossbars can be quickly and effortlessly removed so that the Snowrails can also be used like normal carving skis. A real innovation in snow sport – made in Switzerland.

➀ Basic position when travelling straight down the slope. The skis are precisely parallel, with both running surfaces completely flat on the snow. The double-crossbar principle guarantees precise direc-tional stability and smooth running.

➁➂ Traverse position when traveling across the slope the slope and when turning. The position of the edges of both skis is completely identical and thereby perfectly synchronous. This guarantees optimal edge-grip on ice, with the dangerous forces generated in curves being evenly distributed to both legs.

Model A1 (anthracite): sandwich construction with two Peraluman plates and a high-quality wooden core, a super diamond finish and special edges. For demanding carvers.

Model W1 (pure white): sandwich construction with two fiber-glass laminates and glued wooden core, PE coating and non-rusting edges. A good natured all-round ski.

Snowrails are available in two models:

Snowrails® The Synchronized Ski System

In the case of dangerous torsion forces or a heavy forward fall, the base plate separates from safety lock and thereby simultaneously releases both boots from the board, together with the base plate. Locking the plate back into position can be carried out quickly and effortlessly. The setting of the transverse and vertical release forces is

carried out centrally with a single screw. The release plate is pivoted on a central disk, which absorbs

non-dangerous running impacts, thereby avoiding unwanted activation of the release mechanism. gertsch-switzerland.ch

Dynaboard® Dynaboard – a great new snow-sport device

The foot position is shifted for traversing. To create momentum for the turn, the boot on the outside of the turn is moved forwards – as in the Telemark.

A new kind of ski-board, on which you stand quite naturally in the direction of travel and can shift the position of your feet longitu-dinally while running. This additional, dynamic dimension provides a completely new riding experience. The bindings stay at the same height during fast downhill runs, so that a normal squat

position is possible and additional speed can be generated. Further-more, both boots will be released in the case of a dangerous fall, together with the base plate of the board – another world’s first. The Dynaboard is the invention that everyone has been waiting for, and will bring new growth to snow sports.

The boots are at the same level when running downhill. A normal, deep squat position is possible in order to increase speed in flat sections.

This innovative short-ski system can be easily converted from walking to downhill running and vice-versa. When hiking over hills and fields, it’s therefore possible to alternately walk up and then glide down without having to mount, remove, pack or unpack skins or other accessories. The learning curve is minimal, and skiing experience is not a prerequisite on smooth terrain. The market potential is enormous: international sales figures confirm that snow-shoe hiking is a popular and trendy sport for all age groups and is experiencing high growth rates worldwide.

Skiing position, with a smooth running surface and steel edges, ready for a downhill run. The extended hinged joint visible in the centre (arrow).

Climbing position, with permanent skin strips: The rear area of the running surface has been swiveled forward 180 ° around the hinged joint, and is fixed in this position.

Crossblades® The ingenious multi-tool for uphill walking and downhill runs

Twin-Deck principle

The patented Twin-Deck principle has a dual function: it presents a narrow running surface for gliding and running on hard snow, which facilitates the directional stability and the use of the edges when traversing and in turns; in deep snow, on the other hand, the running surface is considerably widened by the upper deck. Optimal uplift in deep snow and easy behavior on hard snow are thereby guaranteed for both walking and climbing, as well as for gliding and skiing.

The cross-section of the Cross-blades in deep snow shows how the upper deck provides support over the whole width, thereby giving optimal uplift.

The cross-section of the Crossblades on a hard snow slope shows how the narrow ski guarantees a perfect grip with the edges.
