Later, with Skip's blessing, he accepted an offer from Larry Gordon of Gordon and Smith to join their team as a professional surfer and shape on the side.

After his time with G&S, a sponsorship deal brought him into Rusty Preisendorfer's stable of shapers and pro surfers. His time with Rusty was where he combined the concepts of glide and flow - learned from Skip, plus the finer points of the classic longboard from G&S, and combined them with modern outlines and foils.

He recently reconnected with his roots, again setting up shop at the G&S factory where he currently shapes and collaborates with their team of great board builders & craftsmen...

WHO - PRO PADDLER/coach Danny ChingAt 30 years of age Danny Ching has solidified himself as the premier paddle sports athlete in Southern California, and is recognized worldwide as a skilled waterman.

In 2010 Danny founded 404 Sup Boards and launched his new company by winning both Battle of the Paddle races in Hawaii and California and going undefeated for the year in SUP competition.

Since then, Danny has also founded Hippo Stick SUP Paddles and recorded multiple SUP victories, his most memorable coming at the prestigious Battle of the Paddle California and Hawaii, including 3 BOP Elite victories, 6 BOP distance victories, 7 Overall BOPs.
