I am pleased to introduce to you WWF’s Corporate Membership Programme (CMP).

Corporate partnerships play a vital role in our work to influence the course of sustainability and conservation in Hong Kong and the region. To leverage the strength of collaborations with companies we provide corporate programmes and different levels of membership accompanied by a range of exciting benefits that include advisory services with our sustainability experts.

Our team of experts can advise and help you learn about our successful conservation programmes to achieve greatest value from sustainability initiatives.

Peter CornthwaiteCEO, WWF-Hong Kong

SUSTAINABLE BUSINESSWWF works with companies to assess their environmental impact and build a strategic plan to reduce that impact in a way that will advance conservation, community and the company’s business objectives.

LOOP and LCMP accredited companies avoided 147,200 tonnes of carbon emissions and saved electricity expenses of over HK$230 million in 2017. Global shipping companies accounting for 80 per cent of the global market share have set up “no shark fin” carriage policies.

CAUSE MARKETINGWWF engages with companies to develop integrated consumer-facing campaigns that enable companies and their customers to show their support and to contribute actively to conservation.

WWF’s Plastic is not Fantastic campaign encourages retail outlets and merchants across Hong Kong to put the fees they collect from plastic bags to good use in support of our conservation and education work.

CREATING SHARED VALUECompanies may also provide funding to help support specific community based sustainability and conservation initiatives.

WWF is partnering with companies to work within youth groups, the disadvantaged and other local communities to give them access to citizen science projects that document the biodiversity at Mai Po Nature Reserve, Hoi Ha Wan and other areas across Hong Kong. We motivate action in conservation partnering with corporate employees and the community.

MAI PO NATURE RESERVELocated on the north-western corner of Hong Kong, the Deep Bay wetland complex is among Asia’s finest locations for wetland biodiversity. It is a renowned haven for migratory birds and a Ramsar site.

Since 1983, WWF has actively managed the 380-hectare reserve, continuously developing research and education facilities while carrying out extensive conservation work to maintain the wetlands.

JOCKEY CLUB HSBC WWF-HONG KONG HOI HA MARINE LIFE CENTRE

Hoi Ha Wan was one of the first designated marine parks in Hong Kong. Its coral community is one of the best in Hong Kong, with a huge diversity of marine life.

Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre is a premier marine educational facility, which organizes visits and educational programmes for schools, youth, corporate and community groups.

ISLAND HOUSE CONSERVATIONSTUDIES CENTRE

Built at the beginning of the 20th century as the former official residence of the New Territories’ district commissioners, Island House now is a declared monument. It serves as WWF's education and conservation centre, promoting environmental and cultural heritage education.

Corporate and community groups are welcome to join eco-guided visits and activities at the three WWF centres. Corporate membership provides various discounts for visits and activities.
