Revised Paper Pattern for SSC CGL starting 2013

Tier I exam Sections, questions and marks

General Intelligence and reasoning.General awareness.Quantitative aptitude.English language.

Tier II exam Sections, questions and marks

Quantitative Ability: 100 questions of 200 marks.

English Language and comprehension: 100 questions of 200 marks.

Total weightage: 400 marks and total time 2 hours.

For Visually handicapped students extra 40 minutes will be provided for completing the paper.

Statistical investigator Grade 2 post will consist Paper 1 + paper (as stated above) Paper 3 consisting of 100

questions of 200 marks.

Crucial Points to be Noted

Tier 1 and tier 2 and tier paper will be of objective type in nature and comprise all multiple choice questions only.

Minus marking will be however applicable in the paper. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. But in Tier

I0.50 marks will be deducted for wrong answer in paper I and paper III.

Question paper medium of CGL exam will be hindi and English.

Difficulty level of paper 1 of tier 2 will be high school stander, Paper 2 stander will be intermediate level and paper 2

stander will graduation level.
