Sexes divided.Hunting Retriever Classes: Classes for dogs & bitches that have earned an AKC Junior, Senior or MasterHunter title under AKC rules. Sexes divided.Field Trial Classes: Classes for dogs & bitches that have won, placed or received a judge's award of merit inany AKC licensed or member field trial. Sexes divided.

NON-REGULAR CLASSESInvolving Multiple Dog Entries*Stud Dog Class: For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class andshown in the ring with their Get. Award will be based on the merits of the Get. Get must be individually enteredin one of the breed classes in this show for which it is eligible.*Brood Bitch Class: Same as Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get.

*As a judge’s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch is based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch,no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed byvirtue of having won this class.

Chapter 11, Section 8 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows allows spayed bitches and castrated dogs to beshown in the Veterans, and as the Stud Dog or Brood Bitch in classes at Independent Specialties.

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIPNovice Class: For boys and girls at least 9 and under 18 years of age on the day of the show who at the timeentries close, have not won three first places with competition present in a Novice Class at a licensed ormember show.

Open Class: For boys and girls at least 9 and under 18 years of age on the day of the show who at the timeentries close, have won three first places with competition present in a Novice Junior Showmanship Class ata licensed or member show.

Master Class: This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on theday of the show, and who have won the 10 first place wins in an Open class with competition to be eligible toenter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates forthe AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enterthe Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once theeligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for thefollowing year.

Junior Handlers must include their AKC Junior Handler Number on each entry. You may obtain yourjunior identification number by calling the AKC at (919) 233-9767. Be sure all information for Junior classes isentered on the front and back of the entry form.

Bitches in season are not eligible. At Specialty shows, dog must be of the breed for which the show is held.

OBEDIENCE & RALLY TRIAL CLASSESTransfers will be permitted in accordance with Obedience Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 16.All Obedience and Rally classes will be run in jump-height order from Small-Tall.The Rally ring size will be 40’ x 50’.Please include your jump height(s) on the entry form.

Bitch in Season Refunds: The Club will refund one-half (1/2) of the entry fee for bitches unable to compete for that reason. Allrefund requests must be accompanied by a dated, signed letter on official business letterhead from your veterinarian stating thereason that your dog cannot compete. E-mails, phone calls and non-letterhead notes will not be considered. All requests must bereceived by the Show Secretary by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the show.

4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition

One combined class, not divided by sex, will be offered for Golden Retrievers that are at least fourmonths and under six months of age on the day of the competition. All of the puppies areexhibited in the same class and the only placements are Best of Breed (BOB) and Best ofOpposite Sex to Best of Breed (BOS).

Entry and eligibility requirements:• AKC registration number or an AKC litter number will be required for entries of an AKCrecognized breed as listed in Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows. A foreignborn dog may enter this class if they are registered in the country of origin.

• All entrants are to be vaccinated (including rabies) in accordance with their veterinarian’sprotocol.

• Professional handlers are not permitted to exhibit in this class. (Professional handlers aredefined as anyperson who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers’ organization,distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling dogs forpay.)

Hospitality, Food & WeatherThere will be a food vendor on site both days for breakfast and lunch.

Weather: Be prepared for anything! The weather is generally warm in western Pennsylvania inJune. The average high is 78 and the average low is 50. The maximum average precipitationoccurs in the month of June, so don’t forget appropriate clothing in case of rain!

Additional InformationDogs need to be at the show only at the scheduled time of judging and may leave immediatelythereafter unless required for further judging. The judge is not required to wait for dogs. It is theresponsibility of the owner or handler to have the dog at ringside when required and withoutbeing called.

Please keep the area cleaned up with the equipment provided. If we are to have access tothese facilities again, exhibitors and handlers MUST keep them clean.

There will be no smoking inside the building. Please dispose of trash in the proper manner.

Parents must be responsible for children. Children must be kept under supervision at all times.No strollers please, for the safety of your child.

The use of flexi-leads is not prohibited on show grounds. However, we urge you to use themresponsibly.

No gasoline or diesel generators inside any building or within 100 feet of any area in which thisdog show is conducted.

All dogs present must be on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged.

Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free ofinternal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriatevaccinations.

These clubs do not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the official AKC entryform for this event.

Camping Information: Overnight RV parking or camping at the Lawrence County Grounds in designatedspaces is by reservation and advance payment only. A limited number of RV spots are available, full hook-up50 amp service close to the rings. Sites are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

The operation of diesel or gas generators in the RV area is limited to the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

NO ADMITTANCE BEFORE Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at NOON. RVs and campers must be off the groundsby Friday, June 24th at 6:00 p.m.

Parking is strictly at the exhibitor’s risk as the Club accepts no responsibility for theft, damage or loss ofpersonal property or the loss of or injury to animals in the care of the exhibitors at the show.

Preferred Grooming Spaces: Reserved grooming spaces will be on a first come, first served basis.Grooming spaces are 8 x 10, under the pavilion with electric, next to ringside. 8 x 10 space - $25.00 for bothdays. Space assignments will be provided upon arrival.

Picnic Buffet: Following Sweepstakes and Rally, a picnic will be held to socialize before getting ready for theshows. Please join us for a relaxing evening of food, friends and beautiful dogs!!
