What was a problem for people or for the country during the Progressive Era? 1900-1915

Medicine. Child Labor Unfair business practices Racial discrimination
Muckrakers
These were writers who researched the problems, printed in books a newspapers.
Theodore Roosevelt named them. Raked up dirt, found out bad things, and let
people know about them.
This person Wrote “The Jungle” Which was about the unsafe and filthy
working conditions in meat packing plants.
Upton Sinclair
Roosevelt pushed this through, said all food and drugs must meat quality standards and label correctly.
