Course Description and Objectives

Our two-day On-Campus Review Course is held at your academic institution. Our course instructors create a stimulating learning environment that motivates and empowers students. Discussion, spirited debate, and assessment assist students to refine crit ical reasoning skil ls when answering challenging multiple-choice questions. The course is typically scheduled from 8:30-4:30 each day or 8:00-5:00 on day one and 8:00-3:00 on day two. The course includes an hour lunch break and brief a.m. and p.m. breaks.

Following completion of the course students will:

• Identify current strengths and weaknesses by answering challenging multiple-choice questions.

• Improve decision-making skil ls when answering multiple-choice questions with good, better, and best options.

• Design and implement a comprehensive study plan based on the latest information available from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.

• Util ize innovative individual and group study tools to enhance the efficiency of study sessions and maximize applied learning opportunities.

• Develop strategies to maximize the effectiveness of study sessions.

• Util ize quantitative and qualitative measures to determine readiness to take the NPTE-PTA.

• Demonstrate increased motivation and confidence to pass the examination on the f irst attempt.

More Than Just Sample Questions

The course provides students with a comprehensive view of how to prepare for the

examination. In addition to identifying strengths and weaknesses by answering sample examination

questions, the course provides students with a comprehensive study plan for the NPTE-PTA. This powerful

one-two combination allows students to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their study sessions and

translates into higher examination scores.

Feel Prepared!

Our course prepares students to make an objective decision on their readiness to take the exam by providing specific benchmarks using a variety of available learning tools. Our belief is that students must base their readiness to take the examination on performance data and avoid relying on less relevant variables such as the amount of time spent studying. By engaging in guided self-assessment activities, students become more likely to objectively analyze their own performance and avoid the significant consequences of taking the exam prematurely.

We have 37 outstanding instructors who have impressive qualifications and credentials. The instructors represent a broad mix of seasoned academic faculty and

expert clinicians. They are hand selected, experienced educators who are superior teachers and their teaching evaluations support this belief. We have extensive

training materials including videos, audiotapes, instructor notes, and regular email blasts to communicate necessary information. We have had virtually no turnover in

HOSTING AN ON-CAMPUS COURSE

Our courses are offered on weekdays, weekends or even Friday/Saturday. We ask that academic programs provide a first and second choice of dates for scheduling the course. Once course dates have been established, our office will issue an invoice for the course deposit of $500. The deposit can be paid by check, purchase order or credit card. Students can purchase our review book and/or flash cards using the 25% review course discount as soon as the course is officially scheduled.

Pricing Structure

Our unique pricing structure does not fluctuate based on the number of course participants and instead relies on a fixed fee of $3,500 for our two-day course. This type of structure makes the most innovative and comprehensive review course affordable for groups of various size. For example, the per student fee for a class of 20 students would be $175, while the per student fee for a class of 40 students would be $87.50. Students participating in the review course are not required to purchase our licensing resources, however, are entitled to a 25% discount on our best selling review book and/or flash cards prior to, during, or after the review course. Students attending the course receive FREE Basecamp - Standard (30 day) access! ($55 value).

Our fixed fee pricing structure and complimentary resources make the course an unquestionable value. Our goal has always been to make the course affordable for students and at the same time deliver a review course that stands head and shoulders above the competition. On-Campus Review Course Manual

Students participating in the review course receive a copy of our review course manual. The manual is filled with sample questions, assessment activities, study tools, and other valuable resources to assist students with their preparation for the NPTE-PTA. The manual is used throughout the two-day course and remains a valuable resource for students until the day they take the NPTE-PTA. Frequent manual updates ensure that the manuals convey even the most recent NPTE-PTA developments.
