HISTORY

Revaro was founded in 2000 by Mr. Reyno van Rooyen. The original start up was an IT company which evolved into a business management consultancy, specializing in business turnarounds. Mr. van Rooyen was one of Productivity SA’s consultants, an institution funded by the Department of Labor.

Revaro's last turnaround was in 2009 for a brick manufacturing company. Through all the intensive research Mr. Van Rooyen saw the opportunity to bridge the pricing gap in the market. He investigated the international market to look for machinery that could be supplied to local start-ups at affordable prices. That is what Revaro is all about today. Our slogan is ‘affordable Innovation’.

Mr. van Rooyen crossed the globe regularly in search of factories that can supply Revaro with quality but affordable gear. Meanwhile Revaro cast the net wider and now also source products from India, Turkey, Italy, Austria, Greece and Germany. The wide network of suppliers allows sourcing from the very best in the industry.

Revaro evolved again, this time into a small company selling a variety of Brick Pallets to existing brick makers. There was a gap in the market for affordable brick machines and consumables.

Before long Revaro had penetrated the market with a full range of Brick, Block & Paver Making Machines, Earth Moving & Material Handling Equipment and various other Equipment. Revaro has grown in many aspects such as it's employment size, service offerings and products, now shipping out to 50 countries.

Revaro currently employs over 140 people with a wide range of expertise, and are proud to say that employees are not only workers but also learn new skills that can be passed on to future generations. Revaro aims at empowerment, everyone has a chance!

Revaro's biggest exportdestinations currently are Zimbabwe, Malawi, DRC, Mozambique, and Zambia as wellas Lesotho and Swaziland. Our logistics department is well-equipped to send out ourhighly qualified technicians for maintenance, repairs and plant set-ups.
