• Resources should be created to enhance the intended learning outcomes
• RLOs should consist of at least one specific learning objective and include measurable outcomes that meet those objectives
• RLOs should demonstrate appropriate use of the technology
Things to Think About
• Essential elements of an RLO in regards to the Grant:
– Be digital, preferably web-based, and interactive
– Be easy, or somewhat easy, to share with another faculty member, easily transferable/reusable
– Be generalized enough to work and make sense almost entirely by itself, or make sense in the context of someone else’s related content (not instructor-specific)
– Address accessibility
– Recommended tools: SoftChalk, Camtasia, Articulate, ANGEL tools
