ChildcareSpring / Summer Hours
Mondays - Fridays8:30 - 11:30 am
District - $1.50 per half hour($.75 for each additional child per half hour)
Non-District - $2 per half hour($1 for each additional child per half hour)
Money can be loaded onto your account for our drop-in child care visits.
You must remain in the recreation center while your child is in childcare.
Personal Training A personal training form must be completed first, which
can be picked up at the front desk or printed HERE. Return the completed form to Matt Darby at
[email protected] or drop it off at the Front desk of the Rec Center. You will receive a call or email from one of our certified personal trainers to set up
your first appointment! Dates and times are flexible and may vary
depending on availability. Ten training sessions may be purchased at a discounted rate. Physician
approval is necessary for men over 45, women over 55, and youth ages 14-17. Health history will be reviewed and you
will be notified if a physician approval is necessary for other reasons.

YOGA

This class is an invitation to experience the actions required of the body and mind to achieve an array of
yoga poses with curiousity. Each class will deconstruct and explore a peak pose. Peak poses may vary from
postures on the floor to standing poses, arm balances, and inversions. Props are available and encouraged. The class may include yoga philosophy, breath work, and meditation. This class is intended to offer all the benefits of yoga with respect, gratitude, and playful-
ness. May this practice of yoga help you see, write, and rewrite your story.

Jeet Kune Do means “the way of the intercepting fist,” it was created by Bruce Lee as his personal expression of unarmed combat. Jeet Kune Do includes punching and kicking based on physics and kinesiology to max-imize the power of each strike. Our Jeet Kune Do class offers many physical and mental benefits, improving one’s strength, endurance, balance, coordination, pa-tience, and self confidence. We practice Jeet Kune Do the way Bruce Lee intended when he created it. Not
just as an idea or concept, but as a form of expression.

Spring CARA Volleyball
March 16 - May 16, 2020Practice Days Vary
2nd Grade - 8th Grade$85 District $90 Non-District
CARA Volleyball participants will be broken up into 2 divisions based on their skills and abilities: Rec and Upper Rec. Based on the coaches availability, ability grouping practices will be held Monday/Wednesday 5:30-6:30 pm or 6:30-7:30 pm, or Tuesday/Thursday
5:30-6:30 pm or 6:30 -7:30 pm.
Team placement will be the week of March 16, 2020.
A coach will contact you with exact practice days and times after the ability grouping practices. Each team
will practice twice a week. Each team will be required to attend two tournaments between April 4 and May 9th
to qualify for the State tournament on May 9th or 16th, 2020. These tournaments will be held at various
locations around the Metro area.

Starting May 16, 2020Games will begin at 9:00 am
Practices will be held on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednes-day night based on coaches
availability and games will be held on Saturdays.

ly be placed on the same team, as well as siblings in the same age division. Head Coach’s child’s registration is FREE; Assistant Coach’s child’s regis-

The YMCA Summer Day Camp offers children a variety of imaginative activities that nurture their spirits, chal-
lenge their minds, and strengthen their bodies. Children will participate in age-appropriate activities including enrichment activities, physical fitness, and field trips. Each week will have a different theme that is fun and engaging for all children. This will provide a basis for activities to help children learn about themselves and
