Easter Eggs for the Homeless!
It’s that time of year again. Please get your family together and dye a dozen or more Boiled Easter Eggs. Bring them on Saturday, April 14th to the church parking lot between 3 and 4 p.m. We will place two in a baggie with salt and pass them out to the homeless downtown. Last year we gave out 700 eggs. Won’t you help us this year? If you have any questions call the Church Office @ 904-744-0833.
God gifts us with many talents and if you can play an instrument (guitar or drums) or can sing, we would love you to join our choir family and sing praises to our awesome God. We practice at 7:30a.m. sharp in the morning before the 8:30a.m. Mass. I know this sounds early but once a habit is made, it just be-comes natural. It is nice not to have to go out at night to prac-tice. We are a fun loving group that loves the Lord and each other. Please come check us out.
Call Maryellen Bell (904)379-7711 or email [email protected] if you are interested.

The Most Reverend Bishop Estevez will celebrate our parish feast day by saying the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. A small luncheon will follow in the Parish Center . All are welcome to attend!
Father Peter and the organizers of A Day For Men and A Day For Women want to thank everyone who contributed food, time and talent to help make our Lenten events another great, evan-gelistic success for our Parish and for our diocese. Everyone who attended said they felt very welcome by the love and care we have for each other and for them as visitors to our par-ish. We are most grateful to be a part of such a wonderful, Christian community, who enjoy knowing, loving and serv-ing the Lord, with the many talents He has given us all. May we continue to do His work next year and always with grateful hearts. May God continue to bless us all and all that we do!

Last year, Emergency Pregnancy Services provided assistance to over 900 families in crisis in our communi-ty. Diapers are the most requested material item and without your help, we cannot meet the community’s need. Please consider donating size
3, 4, and 5 diapers and dropping them in the large boxes in the church. Your support makes a tremendous difference to a local mom who cannot afford or obtain one of the most necessary of items for her baby. For 43 years, EPS has been educating women to make fact-based decisions about their pregnancy, and to empower them to make the right decisions and choose life for their babies. Along with your support, we are helping build stronger and healthier families in our community.
Easter Flowers
We wish to thank the many families who donate flowers to decorate our church for Easter in honor of or in memory of a loved one. The donation is $10.00 and the envelope is included in your monthly church envelope packet. If you do not receive envelopes and would like to make a donation, there will be extra “Flower Envelopes” available at the back of church or you may use any envelope and put the appropriate information on it. Please clearly mark the envelope “EASTER FLOWERS”. You may drop the envelope in the offering basket or mail it to Lisa Hoeppner, 5387 Riverbreeze Ct., Jacksonville, Fl. 32277.
