To attain a summer internship in the field of food processing

Work History

Quality Assurance Intern at Icicle Seafood’s. I worked at the end of the line mostly. I spun cans to check for defects every 20 minutes and weighed them. If the line ever shut down I also did a check of 20 more cans and recorded it. I had two papers to fil l out every time we changed codes. These were to keep track of the repacks and also how many cans were going through. I also check the can guard and dud detector frequently. I checked the cans for any defects. My other jobs included britestack, where I spun the top layer of busses to check for defects. I also did a few off loads. For these I took the temperature of the tender hold and temperature of the fish. I recorded the condition of the fish every half hour as well. In between checks I sorted fish as they passed on the conveyor belt.
