Located in Santa Fe

New Mexico, this

garden center takes

in to account historic

guidelines and the

local culture. The

interior is designed

as a refuge from the

desert climate

featuring cascading

waterfalls among an

array of native

plants. The space is

intended to relate to

the native culture in

its materials from

copper to stone.

The bright and inviting

interior atmosphere

extends to the

restrooms where

repurposed tile is used

as an art statement that

reflects local color

themes. Sky lights allow

for an abundance of

natural light improving

navigation and reducing

energy cost. Low flow

toilets and a waterless

urinal lowers water use

and the entire space is

ADA compliant with

ease of access and

egress for all users. The

flooring is practical non-

slip that cleans easily.

Designed to encourage patrons to

remain and take refuge from the

outside elements, the Café offers a

place for all to relax. This concept

further encourages customers to

engage and interact more with the

staff and take in the full scope of

what the garden center offers in

the way of products and

merchandise. The area is flexible

with tables, chairs and stools that

may be moved in to a variety of

configurations for events such as

receptions, horticulture classes,

special gatherings and meetings.

The bar surface is blue marble

resembling native geology as are

the green stone table tops, flooring,

pendant lighting, and the stone

accent wall. A wide range of

lighting is used to enhance the

space.

The office is all about the need for

an abundance of tasks associated

with this kind of business. A large

commercial copper sink is

necessary for prepping plants and

quick clean up. The unusual angle

of the room is purposely created to

encourage thought and the large

desk countertops developed for

different work activities. A

consultation table with stacking

chairs is in place for meeting with

clients, employees and vendors. This

is a quiet area detached from the

main store to focus on business

uninterrupted. The semi transparent

panels for the water wall plus the

sky lights offer increased natural

light for improved visibility. Track

lighting is strategically placed above

work and clean up areas to best

accomplish work.

The idea behind the media room is

to transform a conventional space

that represents a distinct Art Deco

look and feel offering the

convenience of modern technology.

Adapting the interior includes a mix

of contemporary and antique

selections. Lavish and upscale is

the driving force for this high-end

residence. Every consideration was

given to the characteristics of the

style from the wide use of

geometric stained colored glass to

the extensive application of

rosewood most closely associated

with this period. Heavy geometric

molding clarifies the space and

modern media devices are available

for use but do not conflict with the

overall surroundings. A combination

of old and new.

Entertaining guests and making an

impression while flamboyantly

projecting the Art Deco style is the

motivation in this living room. A

wide use of Antiques from the

extravagant crystal chandelier to

the rosewood veneered original

grand piano transitions one to a

special treasured time. The

geometric stained glass, stainless

steel period fireplace insert and

broad use of chrome are intended

to enrich the reflection of light.

Polished marble flooring in concert

with the room features have a

glistening sparkling air. The seating

is intended to promote relaxation

and comfort. It is planned for

trouble-free configurations and

alterations based on the user

needs.

Murals stimulate a mood which correlates to the

pleasure directly associated with this era.

Collectively, the glossy silver and gold wall

treatments reflect an age of abundance and

sophisticated enjoyment. These surfaces enrich

the interior adding refinement that defines the

ambience. An off-white wall paint is used to

balance and imitate a more refined impression. A

large leather contemporary sofa offers comfort

and practicality for engaging guest in

conversations. Useful table tops are durable and

easy to maintain avoiding stains , scars and

scratches.

What does Egypt represent? Egypt's

past and present are in conflict but

the objective in this effort was to

reveal a strong connection with the

past and the realities of the present.

Taking this approach developed an

interior with ancient Egyptian motifs

to conservative practical furniture

selection. All of the furniture is

designed for easy configuration

changes, simplicity and durability.

The design takes into account the

decay, struggle and hardships linked

to its modern culture. This is

represented in the soiled Wall finish

and use of natural rubble stone.

Tradition in the Jewish faith

dictates conservatism,

simplicity and basic

accommodations for

gatherings. Essentially the

Synagogue is a hall to

facilitate religious activities

dating back thousands of

years. This strategy

represents through its basic

simplicity in all its

characteristics. The partial

stone façade represents its

link with time and history.

Affluently contemporary

with a joining of a rich

Italian history inspires

this project. The past is

symbolized in the use of

marble, ancient frescos

and extravagant flooring.

The present is reflected

through the use of clean

lines, light whimsical

colors and colorful

lighting. Banquette

seating respects a basic

need for privacy plus

style. This is an elegant

space for today that is

harmonious and calming.

Youthful, engaging,

stimulating,

encouraging, and

conferring are key words

that fostered this

design. Muddy walls and

old brick are associated

with the farm in this

conference room.

However, In contrast is a

painted metallic floor,

chicken wire sculpture

and intelligent

ergonomic furnishings

that convey a current

edge that directs

success. It’s all about an

environment where

people want to work

even for the chicken!

Refining an image,

adding a lively spirit and

adding appeal to a

customary business is

the incentive behind this

concept. An abundance

of light, ergonomically

mobile designed

seating, tables and desk

along with acoustic

absorbing carpet and

wallcovering make for

an effective work place.

Consultation areas are

both collaborative and

individual which respect

working space. Noise

reduction through

applying good acoustic

absorbing materials

promotes increased

thought and ideas

devoid of interruption.

Kid friendly, fun, safe,

soft, quiet, damage free

are some of the terms

allied with this design

strategy. Carpeting,

acoustic ceiling panels,

cleanable wall surfaces

with basic friendly

furnishing and barrier free

accommodations for all

users is central to this

plan. Kid colors for both

boys and girls stimulate

play, imagination and

wellbeing. Good natural

light and a fun ceiling

finish turn the waiting

room in to a play room

diverting a child's

attention for a visit.

It has to work for all of

us. Careful attention was

given to planning this

space for all users.

Carpet tiles were

selected for its acoustic

properties and easy

replacement. Corridors

of a light white birch and

wall covering of light

green are chosen to

encourage calm in what

potentially can be a

hectic stressful setting.

Mobility, reliability, germ

reducing easy cleaning

surface materials and

ergonomically functional

equipment and seating

make up this design.

Exotic, interesting,

foreign, exciting, bold,

rich and artsy are

words connected to

this idea. Mosaic tile,

sculpted leather

textiles, flashy Moz

Metal wall panels and

raindrop pendants

grace the lounge

immediately

transporting one to

another world.

Comfort, simplicity and

a spicy color scheme

add to an atmosphere

of fun and a casual

place to pause from

the normal routine.

fabulous riches of old

developed to lend itself to

an unforgettable

amazing experience.

Colorful intricate mosaic

flooring, ocean like MOZ

Metal Wall Panels and

detailed geometric

atmosphere of wonder.

Cork wallcovering has a

weathered appearance

reminiscent of coastal

towns like Cadiz. The

Medina and its riches are

expressed through the

fabric and luster finishes.

Directly tied in with the

entire air of the space

are the restrooms. Both

are planned to mirror

each other to reduce

waste of materials and

longevity. They are

purposely arranged for

plumbing near the bar

and kitchen for

improved fixtures

/materials. The

restrooms feature non-

slip flooring, quartz

partitions and glass

beaded/marble wall tile

that are simply washed.

Toilets and sinks are

selected to use less

water.
