August 2010 – Current:

Piping and Pipeline Design Engineer

The petroleum projects and technical consultations company (Petrojet - EPC), New Nozha, Cairo, Egypt.

Duties:

Prepare stress analysis reports using CAESAR II, 2016.

Proceeding „Nozzle check‟ for storage tanks designed as per API 650 (Bulge and settlement study),

„Nozzle Peq‟ analysis at certain rating temperature for leakage check of flanges, Spring hanger design,

Expansion joints rating, Pumps nozzle loads check through API 610, issuance manual calculations to

check Pumps nozzle loads as per HI 9.6.2-Annex A for pumps designed as ASME B73.1M, releasing

manual calculations for alternative configuration to anchor flanges, Upheaval buckling for long buried

pipelines, bend thinning verification, and Pipeline stability and Buoyancy check.

Prepare preliminary and finally revised Material Take off (MTO) for bidding and procurement.

Liaison engineer between client and subcontractors.

October 2008 – July 2010:

Assembly Line Engineer

Duties:

During the period from June 7th, 2008 to September 14th, 2008, worked in a modeling project of

simulation of hydraulic/pneumatic circuits of CNC machines and relating it to electrical circuits and

PLC systems controlling it, using Automation studio v 5.0.

During the period from January 2nd, 2008 to June 7th, 2008:

Checking the quality of items received from suppliers located in both India (Mahindra & Mahindra)

and Russia (Lada).

Preparing claims for received defected parts from suppliers.

Preparing assembly manual and so the quality check-plan for each particular stage of an assembly line.

Checking the final quality of the sub-assemblies before delivering to the client (Bavarian auto group &

Lada Egypt).

Responsible for calibration of measuring gages and preparing calibration certificates in compliance

with clients‟ quality plans to assure their satisfaction.

Preparation of quality assurance reports monthly using 6 sigma concept.

Designed models of casts for new products of assembling brake systems using Solidworks 2006, for

instance:

1- Komodo rear brake drum,

2- New Lada-Niva brake disc, and

3- Peugeot 406 rear brake drum.
