Club Lake Lytal Lightning Swim TeamGrades 9, 10, 11, and 1225 hours per week. 30 weeks.

Member of the 5A classification, highest level in the club. Compete in 100 Fly, 100 Free, 200 IM, 200 fly, 100 Breast, and 50 Free. Champion at Swim Miami’s 3.1 Mile Swim for 17-18 year old.

Puerto Rico National Swim Federation, San Juan, Puerto RicoGrades 11 and 1230 hours per week. 4 weeks.

Attended the PR National Championships. Earned position to compete in the 2014 Central American Games in Mexico.

Scuba Diving Grades 10, 11, and 12

Certified in Scuba Diving Certification consisted of four dives with a trainer, training sessions in the ocean, and review of a scuba

diving manual for a written test. Trained by certified instructors for underwater navigation. Work to maintain peak performance buoyancy.

Community Service Community Service all four years of high school. Accumulated more than 150 hours through school, church, and the local community.

Rustic PathwaysGrade 11

Visited Costa Rica and implemented sustainable environmental development programs. Learned about indigenous cultures and the preservation of endangered species.

Work with National Park rangers from the National Wildlife Refuge. Assisted in the conservation of endangered turtle species by marking and dating nests.

Habitat for Humanity, Paint Your Heart OutGrade 9, 10, and 11

Visited communities around the region for special projects including painting houses in neighborhoods that were in decay.

Packed food donations to be distributed to needy families.

Witnessed two full surgeries, one hip replacement and one knee replacement. Observed interactions with patients during office visits and patient follow ups in the hospital.
