PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Attorney, Private Practice, OR (208-current): I focus primarily on family and criminal law and
have extensive trial, arbitration and mediation experience. I also handle matters on a contract
basis.
Adjunct Instructor, University of Portland, Portland, OR (2014-current): I teach courses in
public speaking and persuasion, with an emphasis on business presentation techniques.
Adjunct Instructor, Mount Hood Community College, Gresham, OR (2005-current): I’m
responsible for undergraduate courses in communication, including public speaking and business
presentations, argumentation and interpersonal communication.
Associate Dean of General Studies, ITT Technical Institute, Portland, OR (2015-16): I was
responsible for the supervision of approximately 30 instructors while overseeing general education
courses. I also taught a variety of undergraduate classes, including writing, group communication
and communications.

took courses focused on, organizational communication and public speaking.
Bachelor of Arts, Communication, Washington State University, Pullman, WA (2000-02): My
coursework focused on rhetoric, persuasion and public speaking.
RELATED SKILLS:
My background in communication has afforded the opportunity to develop a strong
interpersonal skill set in terms of working with a diverse range of clients, which has allowed me
to be a stronger advocate. Preparation and diligence are the hallmarks of an exceptional attorney
and I always ensure to embody same. As an instructor, I emphasize the personal and professional
application of course concepts.
