Manufacturing Engineering Co-op, Harley Davidson Motor Company, January 2016 – August 2016 Set up assembly line for roughly 100 new parts, in order to launch new powertrain. Worked with operators in 40 different stations of assembly line to maximize efficiency and
operator safety. Noted and completed work requests from operators during validation builds. Ordered materials and equipment from suppliers when needed, totaling an amount of about
$30,000. Modify/design tooling for new and current production using Solidworks. Worked directly with toolmakers, millwrights, electricians, and planners to complete work Communicated with and assisted Materials, Packaging, and logistical personnel when needed. Updated assembly line station layouts in AutoCAD.
