Job Description

Preparation units for startup and Performing necessary checks before unit starts, checking auxiliaries (Pumps, fans, air and fuel gas compressors).

1st Shift Engineer for Talkha 750 MW power station.


Participate in construction, commissioning, steam blow, By-pass Operation and start-up of ALSTOM DKYZZ3-2N41C (250 MW) steam turbine and CMI HRSG.

Operation of SIEMENS V94.3A (2x250MW) gas turbine -Teleperm XP control system- and associated auxiliary through DCS.

Operation of ALSTOM DKYZZ3-2N41C (250 MW) Steam Turbine.

Monitoring the operation of a power generating unit to ensure reliable and efficient power generation.

Performing the unit startups and shutdowns per assigned targets.

Act as first response to emergency situations, take appropriate steps to stabilize the problem as much as possible while simultaneously informing the supervisor and other parties as indicated in the procedures to safeguard the system and possibly personnel , Perform daily routine check and Communicate with NCC to control the loads so as to face the Load Demand.
