Experience Canvasser — Fund for the Public Interest Advocated for workplace equality and single-handedly raised over 19,000 dollars in three months for the Human Rights Campaign. Canvassed at multiple pride events and raised over 2,000 dollars from these events in total. May 2014 – Aug. 2014 Field Manager — Fund for the Public Interest Managed 2-4 crew members on-site to collectively raise funds for the Human Rights Campaign and direct crew performance. Used positive, constructive, and goal-oriented communication to motivate crews on- site, generating above average crew performance and morale. Handled portions of employee observation, training, termination, and used disciplinary procedures on-site. May 2014 – Aug. 2014 Sales Associate — ALDO Shoes Sold about 900 dollars worth of shoes and shoe care to customers on the sales floor per day, and up to 2,400 dollars during seasonal employment. Shifted, tracked, organized, and restocked over 100 shoeboxes in a timely manner to fill stockroom requirements. Assisted coworkers with organizing the stock room and fulfilling customer’s requests during high-pressure situations. Sold and restocked shoes and shoe care at other ALDO Shoes locations to ease regional understaffing. (Wheaton and Georgetown locations).
