Experience:

National Programs Director at College Democrats of America July 2016-December 2016

I manage and oversee Democratic Nation-wide programs within the organization. Strategically plan and execute new initiatives and programs such as National Voter Registration Drive; Sexual Prevention Task Force; Our annual National CDA Convention; as well as produce trainings and leadership development workshops to over 400 chartered members.

Alumnae Committee Member for New Leadership Oregon July 2016-Present

I am member of the New Leadership Oregon Alumnae board. We work to engage our incoming classes with fellow classmates that have also graduated. Our organization hosts a program that empower women through a weeklong intense structure program. Encouraging women to run for office or be the next CEO for a company, negotiating wages; and continue professional development.

Resident Ambassador at College Housing Northwest July 2015-June 2016

I am one of 4 RA’s whom are in charge of providing customer service as well as several events over the course the school year. I am on call one day a week and one weekend a month. I sit on the Resident Council as non-voting member and host 8 hours a month office hours.

Democratic Representative for Benton County in the Democratic Party of Oregon Policy Convention and DNC Delegate choosing process for the state of Oregon.

President of College Democrats at OSU August 2014-June 2016

I am the president of the College Democrats at OSU; I am the representative for the OSU Chapter on College Democrats of Oregon State Council. I am also non-voting member on the Benton County Democrats Executive Board as the Young Democrat Liaison who is in charge of connecting youth throughout Benton county eager to be involved for Democratic Party.

Pacific Regional Director for College Democrats of America February 2016- July 2016

I am one of 6-7 regional directors throughout the United States for College Democrats of America; I am the liaison of 5 Chartered States that line the pacific coast. I assist the CDA National Membership Director with recruiting unchartered states within my region.

Programs and Development Director of College Democrats of Oregon August 2013-March 2016

I was a voting member on the College Democrats of Executive Board; I was the chair of CDO state council that all State Chapter Presidents or chapter representatives sit on. Under my leadership I created a caucus system which is a safe space for folks from within certain communities can come together and work on policies to bring to CDO membership for consideration. I was also in charge of providing development opportunities to CDO’s membership; which would include leadership and policy training.

Interfaith Task Force Director at Associated Students of OSU September 2014-June 2015

I was representative and advocate for students whom beliefs identify within the religious, spiritual and secular realms. I work to make sure that no matter a student’s belief that they are being treated equally throughout this campus and their safety is no being compromised.

I was in charge of outreaching to the OSU community as the College Democrats at OSU liaison.

I was a voting member on ASMHCC Student Activities Board; I brainstormed, planned and executed a variety of seasonal based events such as Halloween, Holiday Tree, Valentines and More during the academic school. I had the opportunity to travel to DC and lobby on governmental issues and helped provide access to voting for the election season.
